Vacation rentals with a kayak in Marion County

Stayed here for a weekend with some friends to explore Willamette Valley wineries. Super convenient location and a really accommodating space for a group. We didn’t end up cooking at all but the kitchen is certainly very well equipped to do so. Also the backyard and entryway with a dog door made it a really easy space to have a pup in.

This was my second time staying on Jeremy’s magical property, and this time we brought the whole family! We rented both the main house and guest house for a weekend getaway, and the experience was absolutely unforgettable. The main house is warm, inviting, and incredibly spacious—perfect for gathering everyone under one roof. The design is thoughtful and full of charm, with cozy corners, a well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds throughout. We cooked, laughed, and shared meals around the dining table, then relaxed by the fire or explored the beautiful surroundings. The private lake, forest trails, wildflowers, and peaceful energy of this place make it feel like your own private nature retreat. We saw all kinds of critters, made bonfires, and enjoyed being completely unplugged. It was everything we hoped for and more. Jeremy’s hospitality is unmatched, and this property continues to be a favorite. We can’t wait to return again.

Roz home is beautiful,comfortable, well arranged,everything u need! Yards are beautiful and well kept. There is a river view from every room and area on River side of house huge windows! Roz is very easy to communicate with ,is always quick to respond!

Sherry was such a lovely host! Communicative, friendly and overall wonderful. The pond and surroundings were so beautiful. We stayed for a family wedding and everyone loved this incredible home!

We were looking for a place where we could relax during a family business trip. This is a lovely house, well decorated, clean and well equipped. It feels like the host put all of the extra touches into the place that she would want to have herself when staying at a location. Brittany was very helpful and attentive to what we needed. We didn’t know Salem and stayed on the opposite side of the river from where it would have been more convenient in regards to where we had our business to take care of, but we all agreed it was worth the extra drive-time to stay here. We actually are already planning another trip here later this year and are hoping this location will be available. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

my family was in town for a wedding and ended up using both of John's houses. It's an idyllic little retreat in the woods. we unfortunately did not have the opportunity to explore Aurora, but the houses were perfect for our large group and John and his co-host Gina were accommodating to our request to check-in early and quick to work out a solution when our early check-in time affected the code to enter. would highly recommend either of these houses (or both) to anyone staying in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Marvin's Gardens. We were in town to celebrate our grandson's high school graduation. This house provided extra sleeping options, in addition to the space at our daughter's house. We loved the pond and all the outdoor space. We look forward to more opportunities to stay here again in the future.
