Vacation rentals with lake access in Marion County

We have stayed at the River House multiple times in the past, now the house has been beautifully updated with a new deck, hot tub and furnishings. The home is even more comfortable than before. It was very hard to leave and we look forward to our next visit.

Sherry’s home was one of the coolest, coziest, homiest, best set up Airbnb homes I’ve ever rented. It was as if the best mom/grandmother in the world set up a family home that had magic and comfort around every corner. Nestled in a fairytale setting in the woods above a pond teaming with trout, the house itself was gorgeous and huge, full of decor and collections and beautiful art. From feeding the fish and watching them jump above the surface, to picking ripe plums in the early morning from the trees, sitting out amongst the stunning flower gardens while barbecuing, playing pool and basketball hoop shoot games upstairs, playing guitar in the living room, and watching a movie together curled up in cozy chairs; it was the perfect place for my family to gather. My son was married at Camp Colton this weekend and we rented a few airbnbs for us and out of town relatives to stay. But this wasn’t just a place to stay, it was an joyful experience. (Also super comfortable beds!)

This house is my new happy place. Seriously; the tranquility it provides, the beautiful surroundings, so so near a creek, the song of birds... It really is amazing. The kitchen is really fully equipped. I appreciated that they have storage bags and foil paper. It even has blender! (I never use them but it's important to me to have one handy in case I need it😂). All the appliances are in really good condition. The beds are comfortable, too. They have cool family board games, there's a nice TV, and the living room is super cozy. There's cute outside furniture which we used every morning to have breakfast together. The main bedroom has really beautiful views. We actually loved it so much that we made a new reservation for the summer even before we left!

Gino is easy to work with, and was very responsive. The house was great and even had some things that are two year-old son was able to play with.

Had a very relaxing and peaceful getaway! Everything was as described and the space was so welcoming and cozy. We lucked out and had no one renting the main house at the same time as our stay in the guesthouse, so got to enjoy the lake, outdoor pavilion and space to ourselves which were all so lovely! Have already recommended to family and friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls’ lake weekend away! The cabin was just as pictured, such a beautiful space!! The kitchen was very well appointed, thoughtfully equipped, community spaces were comfortable and enjoyable to hang out in. Since we stayed here in the summer, being super close to the marina was an excellent perk. The house is in a neighborhood but feels delightfully private - the deck is amazing. Would stay here again.

Barb was a friendly and responsive host. Her Love Shack is very cute and located on a pretty little farm. We enjoyed walking around the pond, sitting on the porch, petting the dogs. Bed was very comfortable and place felt private.

Really easy communication with the owner, easy check in and out. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Stayed for the 4th of July my family and I really enjoyed our stay.. beautiful studio very clean, spacious, with nice views, very close to the lake & docks which was convenient & overall easy & fun experience 😊
