If you’re looking for a few nights tucked away in the hills of Northern California, this is a great spot. It feels like a true retreat, but you’re still just a short drive from Sausalito, Mill Valley, Stinson Beach, downtown San Francisco, and more. The space is wonderfully designed—it has a real vibe—and our hosts were kind and helpful throughout.

Nancy was the nicest and most accommodating host we’ve had at a rental so far. We arrived late one evening when I realized I misplaced the dinner I’d packed to eat when we arrived and when I asked Nancy (who was greeting us when we first arrived) about pizza delivery options, she offered us a nice frozen cornbread pizza to cook in the rental. My hungry young son was so relieved. The backyard overlooks an incredibly green and peaceful hillside and we had such a relaxing time. Also downtown Fairfax is so close by and so adorable. Would love to come back!

Wonderful place, clean with lots of easy to understand labels and instructions. We especially loved Scooter the cat and the view from the hot tub.

I love this place so much! This is at least my third time staying here. Jeri is so great and the place is so peaceful and comfortable, in beautiful nature, right by Point Reyes Station and all my favorite hikes! I would definitely come again!

The place was so cute. Ewa was incredibly sweet and helpful. If you do plan on cooking definitely make sure you have all your ingredients and simple meals as the stove kept turning on and off. It still worked just was a bit challenging at times. It was such a beautiful space. There was two of us definitely can fit 3 people. The location was perfect right in the center of every hike and viewpoint. She has chickens as well which were so cute. The only thing i wish was the patio was a little more upkept. I really wanted to go out there more. Other than that this was an amazing stay ! Thanks Ewa 💞

We had a great experience! Very welcoming. The place was clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed and then some! Really enjoyed using the hot tub. Was just what we needed at the end of each day! And the location was great too! Was close to the ferry to San Francisco which we really liked. Highly recommend and would live to stay here again!

All the amenities perfectly arranged at this charming studio. Close proximity to all the best spots. Long days adventuring and then deep slumbers at this little sanctuary. A true vacation - we felt the peace. Also, great WiFi!

Great place new point Reyes station. Very remote neighborhood and felt like a nice little getaway. Hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived so she turned on the sauna for us which was really nice. Overall great stay!

It’s an absolutely gorgeous quaint place in Richmond. A perfect studio for w solo traveller or a couple. By all means, Shannon’s place is why people choose Airbnb - great location, views, and a unique character!

It was so peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed! Everything is labeled clearly (great for when figuring out which lights go to what). The hosts are very proactive and responsive, and it’s very apparent how much thought and care they have put into hosting. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away from noise and neighbors. The bed and amenities were very comfortable, and it was so wonderful. Highly enjoyed our stay for my boyfriends birthday 🩷

Apartment was very cute, and the area was beautiful. NOTE: Lisa is a psychic, and the apartment is decorated with mystic symbols/charms (appear in pictures but small enough to not really notice). If you have concerns with mysticism, this might not be the place for you.

We chose to visit Sonoma and the surrounding areas as part of our honeymoon. I’m so happy we chose to stay here because we both were able to relax and enjoy ourselves to the fullest in this adorable bungalow. We hope to be back again someday!

This is a charming, comfortable place with lots of personality. Pool and hot tub were wonderful, and Joseph and Fernanda were very friendly, and helped with local recommendations. Couldn't have been better.

Debra's cottage was magical! Peaceful, beautiful and extremely comfortable. I went for a writing retreat and it was perfect. And Debra is such a lovely, thoughtful and warm person. A wonderful stay all around.

Where to begin... This little jewel was a breathtaking retreat that I hold dear to my heart! It’s definitely in my top 5 best short stay rentals. The host has tremendous respect for her guests' privacy. Getting there can be tricky, as there’s very little space for two vehicles on the steep hill, but the adrenaline rush is absolutely worth it! Beautiful deer greet you at the entrance, which was such a special sight. This is a place I will definitely return to in the coming years. This was our 3rd stay with Stef and Stephen and the whole experience continues to impress us immensely! They are delightful hosts and the space is absolutely lovely. It is clear that great care and attention go into every aspect of the guest experience. The suite is sparkly clean and wonderfully peaceful. There are trees all around and a babbling brook a few feet away. One of our favorite Airbnbs of all time!
