Our stay at Lori and Mike’s place was absolutely fantastic, and Lori truly made it unforgettable. While Mike was away on a trip, Lori went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel so welcome. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a comfortable, personalized experience. She checked in with us just enough to make sure we were all set and shared amazing local tips that really made our trip extra special. Her kindness, attention to detail, and friendly energy made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you so much, Lori—you’re truly one of a kind!

Arlene’s home was the perfect place to stay for our wine country vacation! Waking up to a vineyard and Mountain views every morning was the best way to start our day. The cottage was easy to find and very clean upon arrival. Arlene was responsive and answered any questions we had during our stay. If you’re looking to explore the valley areas, Downtown Sonoma was a short drive and Downtown Napa was usually a 20-25 minute drive. We were able to make a day trip up to the Calistoga region with only a 55 minute drive. We would absolutely stay here again one day!

We were two couples from the Bay Area. It was perfect for the four of us. Beautifully decorated, comfortable furniture and comfortable beds. Plenty of drawer space in bedrooms and closets for our cloths and things. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor space. Laura was very available for any questions. Check in and check out were very easy. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place!

The school house was more than we could have ever expected. It took our breath away the second we pulled up to the property. The kids loved walking up the long drive way and exploring the tree grove. Everywhere we looked there was something even more beautiful to discover. The house itself was stocked and cozy. We felt at home immediately. Lisa was in communication the entire time, everything was ran very smooth. We will definitely be back and for a longer stay! Thanks again for a wonderful stay 🤍 Lauren

Eliza's place was wonderful for us (two parents and a 4 month old baby) for a weekend - we had everything we needed and it was incredibly easy to check in and out. Eliza and her family were there and great to spend time with, but we also felt we had space to ourselves to rest and relax. We will hopefully be back!

We will be back! This property is lovely, comfortable and CLEAN! The sunflower cabin worked well for the 2 of us and was very comfortable. The location is perfect if you are exploring Pt Reyes National Seashore and there are plenty of restaurants, stores and amenities in Olema and Pt Reyes Station.

Jeri's place is amazing and exactly as described, but in some ways better since you get to meet Jeri. Complete privacy, it's super dark and a stone's throw from Point Reyes. Bed was comfortable, good internet even with spotty cell service in the Point Reyes area. Jeri's communications were great even with a PG&E issue. I'd highly recommend and we're already looking at weekends to be back. And yes, I've stayed in many places in Marin and Sonoma county and Point Reyes might be my favorite and Jeri's place was great!

This was my second stay at Ewa's cottage. She is a wonderful host. Perfect location. We had planned to eat at a number of restaurants but the Tap Room , which was about 2 miles away, was so good we kept returning for their specials. I highly recommend this listing and look foward to my next stay.

Our family of 4 had such a lovely stay. My city kids (7 and 3) loved all the outdoor space to run around and especially seeing all the animals (horses, goats, alpacas, sheep, a neighborhood cat, rabbits, quail, lizards...!). Of course a huge highlight was the swimming pool, great temperature, and nice that the kids could stand on the shallow side/steps (and a great kid-safe fence around it). The house itself was lovely, a perfect size for us, with lots of thoughtful touches. Also nice peaceful location but an easy drive to restaurants, Sonoma Square, Traintown, etc. And great communication from Vi. We hope to be back!

The property was breathtaking and exactly what we were looking for for a long weekend getaway. Everything was there that we needed for cooking and making it our home. They excelled at communication. We will definitely be booking with them again in the future.

Sonja’s home was as welcoming and warm as she was as a host - I felt like a left having made a friend on the area. She gave great and specific reccomend Ariona. The home was spotless, very well appointed, and comfortable for our family as well as conveniently located to downtown Sonoma We would definitely recommend and stay at Sonja’s again when we travel in the area!

Had a super peaceful stay here with my dog. Everything was extremely clean and exactly as described. Really appreciated all the details like the morning pastries.

Jasmin was a great host and very responsive. The house and property are tucked away and feel very private with a beautiful view. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Stayed at Karen’s place for 5 days. It’s a really nice house on a quiet street and walkable to the main part of town. It has everything you need for your stay. The place was very clean. The beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend renting this home if you’re considering it. I communicated with Karen several times and she was quick to reply. Overall, it was a great experience!

Ariana's place is perfectly located within the small and secluded village of Dillion Beach. There are ocean views from the living room and the wrapped porch. You can access the beach from a foot path at the end of the road 2 blocks down. There is a parking pad next to the house which is a rare commodity and a wonderful convenience. The house has 2 queen bedrooms upstairs with a separate small bathroom, living/dining and a fabulous kitchen with everything you need. Just off the kitchen and down the stairs is a "bunk room" of sorts. Several beds, TV, washer & dryer and another bathroom. Ariana was a lovely host and we would stay at her cottage again! Tip: Be sure to bring all food and beverage supplies you want for your stay, there is only 1 general store and restaurant in the village. Stop by the Busy Bee farm stand for fruit, vegetables and flowers! Look for a book with Ariana's name on it, she is an author and has lived an amazing life.

The house had lovely interior space that was set up well for group interaction. Exterior space was scenic and had a variety of comfortable seating types and locations. Communication was excellent, from the detailed initial instructions to the email check ins to the labels on keys, showers, lights, etc. Overall, this was terrific space.

We had a magical multigenerational stay at Locke's house in Inverness with my husband, three year old and my parents. We visit Pt Reyes regularly and the location is absolutely perfect, quick walk across the road to Chicken Ranch Beach for kids to romp around, a quick drive into Pt Reyes station for dinner, and easy access to all the wonderful Pt Reyes trails. The house itself was cosy, quiet, had amazing views from the deck (and was sunny most of the day which is rare on this side of Tomales bay!) and felt like a real home. We really liked having the separate cottage to provide a bit more privacy and quiet with a young kiddo with us, and we found the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in the evenings. The only very minor challenge we had was trying to heat the cottage and main house evenly as they are on the same heating system, and the nights were chilly during our visit. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Pt Reyes.

This house had the perfect layout. It boasts an open concept living area, dining room, and kitchen, with the primary bedroom at one end and the other two at the other end. It was so clean that we didn't mind letting our infant crawl on the floors. Probably the best part was the beautiful backyard complete with a deck, hammock, and hot tub! The only downside was the walking distance to restaurants and shopping, as we were expecting the square to be closer.

Overall, very nice! My only real issue was the inflexability on the check out end of things. We had to leave a day earlier than planned, through no fault of our own. I tried for a late check out a day earlier (only 3 hours), to save some money of course. The response was, well you are booked until the 20th, so you can stay as long as you want on the 19th. I just felt that there could have been a little compromise, as people sometimes have to change plans due to circumstances beyond their control. Maybe a charge for staying later could have been offered, but I ended up paying for the entire last night without actually staying there. I have had similar situations over the years with other hosts, and they have been more than happy to compromise.

Kelli’s place is utterly charming and feels like a little private garden oasis. Highly recommend !

My family had a great stay at Hafeez's place. The space was exactly as described and provided a private sanctuary at the end of the day of activities. The pool was pristine, perfect for all ages to enjoy, and lots of outdoor seating allowed everyone to be together. The kitchen/dining area provided plenty of space for eating and kids to play. The location was convenient; downtown Sonoma is ~10 minutes by car, and there are plenty of wineries and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Muir woods was about 1 hour drive.

A Thousand Million Stars! This home was even better than described! Pia, the host, was incredibly responsive and attentive from the start, making everything so easy and welcoming. The house itself was spotless, super comfortable, and beautifully decorated with a unique artistic touch that made it feel truly special. The outdoor area was amazing especially the pool, which we all loved and made the most of! When I asked my 6-year-old how many stars he would give it, he said: “a thousand million stars!” That says it all. We highly recommend this gem of a place and will definitely be back. A friend and I enjoyed staying here for five nights for a writing retreat. The place was better than we'd hoped for...with everything we needed and many additional elements (sound system, charging station, many useful kitchen items, dog park in the distance from the picture window to see all the good dogs!, and more). Comfortable in every way, clean, well organized, and clearly a lot of careful consideration has gone into setting up this lovely place for the comfort, fun, and safety of people visiting. Close to town for food and fun, we enjoyed having a private, quiet, and spacious retreat that felt separate from the busy world. Great outdoor walk down the country road with cows, turkeys, pigs, deer, and more. We would definitely stay here again!
