Yurdagül Hanım Mansion Green Room

Hello All, I am a humanitarian worker and be in Mardin more than 3 years. I bought, restored and gave my mum name to this 500 year stone house. Since I want to share my experience with precious people around the world, I decided to rent the extra 3 rooms. The house is in the heart of old Mardin, close to bazaars, cafes and restaurants . Our mansion consists of 2 floors and 3 rooms in Mardin Artuklu. There is free parking next to the mansion for cars. If you wish, there is an option for extra beds. We had a great two nights at the place. A very good location and nice amenities. Osman personally welcomed us and everything worked in the rooms - kettle, TV and showers etc. Shampoo, soap and hairdryer were also there. Thank you! Otherwise, you should be a good walker in Mardin, as there are some stairs to climb. Thank you for the great place to stay.

Quiet, clean and peaceful stay Our stay in Celbira Konak was quite enjoyable. The housekeeping was very good, the environment was quiet and peaceful. This beautiful structure with its historical texture has become a warm home for our trip to Mardin. Although there is no breakfast service, there are many alternatives available in the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend it for those looking for a plain but comfortable stay.

Me and my friend had a great night at Beyt Merin Konağı. Everything was just wonderful. The breakfast at the terrace prepared by Abla was amazing! Only one tip for travelers who drive: Park your car near the house but OUTSIDE the ancient city and you may easily run into traffic. (you see the stones, you go back!) The road is extremely narrow near Beyt Merin Konağı and on your way out from the ancient city, you may have to reserve a long way to let other mobiles pass, during which you can easily get a scratch on your car.

They responded very quickly to my questions during the pre-stay process and Mr. Serkan, who took care of us during my stay, was really helpful. The price was a good place in terms of performance. The room had most of what to expect from a hotel room. Since it's a stone building, naturally, the room was a little damp and cool, but we warmed up easily with the air conditioning. The location was close to places to visit in the old city. The terrace view was exquisite, especially at night. The whole old town and the mesopotamian plain is at your feet. Finally, let me add for those who are thinking of staying; the toilet and bathroom part are only separated from the room by the shower cabin window, you may have a privacy problem in that regard.

We absolutely LOVED our stay there It felt like our grandmother home ! Omar was really helpful for everything, there are not enough words to describe the kindness and hospitality. We never had such a wonderful airbnb experience with hosts and I will definitely come back and recommend their home to amyone who wants to visit Mardin. The first day we reached my husband was suffering from tooth pain and Omar immediately called the dentist to book an appointment , & guided us to a cab to go there. Everyday he was available and very flexible for check in and check out. Also the place is wonderful, you have the best view from his new coffee shop on top of the house and we spent time there chatting with tea& coffee ☺️! we have wonderful memories and felt like family! thank you so so much! see you next time🙏🏼

The place we stayed was clean and tidy, it was easy to get to, you get a little slope in the vehicle, but then you walk down a great view under all the old Mardin feet, of course, after the trip, a little brisk and uphill walk is necessary, but I can say that it is the most perfect location in terms of the price and the view. Mr. Cebrail helped us a lot, he gave us good advice on places where we could eat and shop for wine, so he didn't say every place where tourists get dragged. Our jacket was there, they helped us a lot with getting it again, thank you again, nice people
