Vacation rentals with beach access in Marco de Canaveses

This place was incredible. Serene, amazing view, had the amenities you need, and spacious. GPS won’t take you exactly there but Vitor gave instructions that were clear to follow and led you there. Would love to come back here again.

This is a beautiful airbnb. It was difficult to get to but worth the drive. It was very quiet and the view was incredible. There were nearby parks across the river which were impressive and Porto is only about 1 hr away.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

Casa bem desenhada, espaçosa e muito acolhedora. O Leonardo deixou-nos lenha para acendermos a lareira na sala e, junto com o aquecimento central, a casa ficou com a atmosfera perfeita para dias frios de inverno entre amigos.

We loved our hosts. We loved the boat. Very clean and comfy. We had the host take us up river in a 4 hour tour that was wonderful. We made the mistake of thinking that the boat was docked in a larger town, closer to the wine country with restaurants and things we could walk to from the boat. It was very isolated in a small quiet town. If your looking for that you will love it .

Afonso's place looks even better and cozier in person. The house, although in a neighborhood, has a lot of privacy and you don't hear noise throughout the day. The house was also in pristine conditions when we arrived, everything very neat and tidy. Definitely a 5/5 experience!

Excellent stay. Despite some bad weather, it was amazing having such a fantastic hot tub. The accommodation is great value and suited us as a couple with a toddler. The location is remote and you need a car. It was lovely seeing the horses and ducks. There isn’t much in the way of amenities such as oil,salt pepper etc so be by everything with you. There is an oven which was great and a bbq outside. Overall a lovely peaceful stay.

Fueron dos semanas de agosto muy agradables, de desconexión total de la ciudad. La casa era pequeña pero confortable y acogedora. La piscina le daba un plus, para poder refrescarse en los terribles calores del verano, y el estar rodeado de naturaleza es ideal para recargar pilas. Gracias a Peter por todas las atenciones prestadas. Es un muy buen anfitrión.
