The house was spotless, very cozy and with everything you need for a perfect stay. The owner was lovely from the first moment: he met us with typical local products and gave us great recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. Definitely a 10 experience. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect Airbnb. Everything was clean and functional. The apartment smelled good and the view about the river was absolutely fantastic. The two balconies sweeten the stay. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook for yourself. The apartment has an ideal location to walk to the place or to the river. Amarante is adorable and we would come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

Ana Catarina is an excellent host. The apartment is located in the heart of the city with all the shops nearby. I would highly recommend it.

I wish I could give you six stars for your exceptional home, location and kind service. Everything was perfect, sparkling clean and Amarante is stunning. This is the heart of Vino Verde wine valley, named for the year round green hills and refreshing wine. Situated only 65 KM’s drive from Porto, Guimares and Pinhao slightly off the tourist track but oh so lovely. Beautiful house right on the river, fabulous cafes, restaurants and butchers slicing up Serrano ham on the walking street, you have a perfect river and people watching view from the front balcony and complete privacy on the stone courtyard in the back. The unit entrance is situated over a lovely shop, up one flight of historic stone stairs, complete with super sturdy handrails. Architecture, food, landscapes and wine. There is nothing more could you ask for than staying in this beautiful home. Thank you Mi and Joao for greeting us and making us feel so welcome and at home with the treats in your Portuguese home.

We stayed 2 days, and they were very well spent! João and Débora always responded very quickly to our messages, and our stay went very well. The apartment is beautiful, the pool too, and you can get away from the chaos of living in the city! As for the cleanliness, it was very clean, we only note that on the shower floor there are quite a few humidity marks, perhaps focus more on this area :) Thank you and we will definitely be back!

We returned to Amarante once again with anticipation for the quaint village and the beautiful valley. We wanted to be on the main downtown area with views of the river. João’s apartment met all of our needs! It is fresh, clean, new very well appointed with high quality finishings making the stay perfect! The bed was great. There are stairs to get to the One-level apartment but the location is the best and worth it. With the Views and quality it is the kind of apartment we would return to next trip there

The house is fantastic, with plenty of space inside, as well as outside. Spectacular pool, my daughters loved it. Orchard with a variety of fruit trees, from which we can harvest and enjoy. Weekly bed linen and towel changes, with the kindness of Dona Cristina (the lady who takes care of the house) We'll definitely be back. Paulo Ferreira

We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Casa Da Torre for 7 days and loved it. The place is spacious, private, and peaceful, with great views over the Douro River. It is a great base for exploring the Duoro River valley. Marta was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

It is a very nice house, located in a peaceful environment. Gloria's welcome was very cordial and owners Ana and Victor were available to let us know what to do when we arrived in the evening. We came there 5 years ago and will be back if possible.

Everything was wonderful, they were all extremely friendly and attentive. Amazing views with lots of activities to spend a good weekend
