Vacation rentals with lake access in Marco de Canaveses

Excellent stay. Despite some bad weather, it was amazing having such a fantastic hot tub. The accommodation is great value and suited us as a couple with a toddler. The location is remote and you need a car. It was lovely seeing the horses and ducks. There isn’t much in the way of amenities such as oil,salt pepper etc so be by everything with you. There is an oven which was great and a bbq outside. Overall a lovely peaceful stay.

I'd like to highlight Vive's attention, welcome and kindness, taking care of all the details and attentive to any questions. In person, the complex is even bigger than what the photos show, everything is very well maintained and with many activities and facilities for shared use. You are in a secluded part of the world, with the river next door and if the weather permits you can enjoy it.

Pleasant stay, house is large . Overall we had a nice stay. The location of the house is very good (close to Marco) and convenient because it is close to shops. Air conditioning was a plus for comfort. We enjoyed the wood-burning oven and the room which acts as a dining room. The living room is very comfortable and large , ideal for a large family like us. Billiards allows for friendly parties.

It's been two weeks since we left this beautiful home in the Douro Valley and we are all still dreaming about it. It was the perfect environment for our family to come together and relax and soak in the beautiful scenery. The house itself is gorgeous with views of the river from every room. The house was complete with everything necessary and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals together. The hostess was exceptionally warm and friendly and answered our questions in a reasonable time. If you want to relax, unwind and recharge this is definitely the place. We are all looking forward to returning one day!

We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful Airbnb — truly one of our favorite vacations, even with a week of rain and rarely leaving the property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and our host Francisco was warm, helpful, and never intrusive. He gave great local tips, including a scenic train and river boat ride that let us explore the valley without too much driving. The roads are very narrow and winding, so we mostly stayed put — but the house had everything we needed for a relaxing week. We loved playing ping pong, swimming, making fresh orange juice, and cozying up by the fire. Francisco ensured we had plenty of firewood and brought us tons of fresh oranges and lemons, along with homemade marmalade and a traditional Easter cake. The Easter fireworks were a magical surprise. This place is peaceful, welcoming, and full of charm — a little slice of heaven. Don’t hesitate to book!

1st off, wow wow wow! what a beautiful villa. We Landed wel ahead check-in time & Jose rang on route and was very accommodating to allow to get in early. The Views when we got out the car were breath taking, the villa itself is beautiful too, so spacious, traditional Portuguese deco and you could tell this home is loved so much. We felt at home. So peaceful, we hired a car and the Intermache supermarket is worth a trip to stock up, only 13 mins drive. So many beautiful walks too. The local wine is a must too! We will absolutely return. Thank you Jose for allowing us to us your place.

Nice and very well equipped apartment! Perfect location if you want to visit Rebordosa and surroundings or if you prefer a more quiet place than Porto and not too far away from beaches. António is a great host, very helpful and friendly. We’ll come back next time.

Very pleasant stay at Nuno's, everything was available for the stay to go smoothly, quiet and relaxing place. Access to the nearby pool complex delighted the whole family! We would recommend this listing!

I super recommend Maria's Room, and Maria really knows how to treat guests, she made me feel very comfortable, always very attentive, she guided me in everything, as much as to places I needed to go and wonderful points in the city as a restaurant, points to take the best photo, curiosities of the region and its surroundings, and not to mention the person who may have a heart that does not fit on my chest, I just have to thank God for having directed me up here in her Hosting... and thank you very much 🫂 Maria "Gina", it was a pleasure to stay in your hosting ... the world would be much better if there were more Marias around the same way... thank you very much and success for your family, and my congratulations...

Wonderful stay. It's the ideal place for both a stadia and a family stay. The hosts have always been very attentive and responsive. We adored and intend to return.
