El dueño fue encantador desde el primer momento: nos recibió con productos típicos de la zona y nos dio excelentes recomendaciones sobre lugares que visitar y dónde comer. É stato un soggiorno fantastico. La città di Amarante é splendida e la posizione dell’alloggio ottima. L’appartamento offre una vista mozzafiato e gli spazi sono molto confortevoli, in appartamento puoi trovare tutto il necessario! L’host é stato reattivo e mi ha fornito le indicazioni necessarie! È stato un soggiorno magico ad Amarante, ci ritornerei!

Ana Catarina est une excellente hôtesse. l’appartement est situé au cœur de la ville avec tous les commerces à proximité. Je recommande fortement.

I wish I could give you six stars for your exceptional home, location and kind service. Everything was perfect, sparkling clean and Amarante is stunning. This is the heart of Vino Verde wine valley, named for the year round green hills and refreshing wine. Situated only 65 KM’s drive from Porto, Guimares and Pinhao slightly off the tourist track but oh so lovely. Beautiful house right on the river, fabulous cafes, restaurants and butchers slicing up Serrano ham on the walking street, you have a perfect river and people watching view from the front balcony and complete privacy on the stone courtyard in the back. The unit entrance is situated over a lovely shop, up one flight of historic stone stairs, complete with super sturdy handrails. Architecture, food, landscapes and wine. There is nothing more could you ask for than staying in this beautiful home. Thank you Mi and Joao for greeting us and making us feel so welcome and at home with the treats in your Portuguese home.

Ficamos 2 dias, e foram muito bem passados! O João e a Débora responderam sempre muito rápido às nossas mensagens, e a nossa estadia correu muito bem. O apartamento é lindo, a piscina também, e dá para desanuviar do caos que é viver na cidade! Quanto à limpeza, estava muito limpo, apenas damos a nota de que no chão do chuveiro nota-se que há bastantes marcas de humidade, talvez insistir mais nessa zona :) Obrigada e sem dúvida que vamos voltar!

We returned to Amarante once again with anticipation for the quaint village and the beautiful valley. We wanted to be on the main downtown area with views of the river. João’s apartment met all of our needs! It is fresh, clean, new very well appointed with high quality finishings making the stay perfect! The bed was great. There are stairs to get to the One-level apartment but the location is the best and worth it. With the Views and quality it is the kind of apartment we would return to next trip there

A casa é fantástica, com bastante espaço dentro, assim como fora. Piscina espetacular, as minhas filhas adoraram. Pomar com variadas árvores de fruta, do qual podemos colher e disfrutar. Trocas de roupa de cama e toalhas semanais, com a simpatia da Dona Cristina ( a senhora que cuida da casa ) Com certeza que vamos voltar. Paulo Ferreira

We truly enjoyed our time relaxing at this scenic and historic place. Right along the river, attached to walking trails in a little park. Plenty of space and all the comforts of home. We spent a cool December evening here cozying up next to the fire and reading about the history of the region. The bridge/entrance dates back to roughly 1660-1740, incredible!

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Casa Da Torre for 7 days and loved it. The place is spacious, private, and peaceful, with great views over the Douro River. It is a great base for exploring the Duoro River valley. Marta was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

¡Estamos encantados con nuestra experiencia en la Casa Dos Dois! Fuimos una familia de seis personas y nos acomodamos perfectamente, con dos personas por habitación. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar, lo que hizo que la experiencia se sintiera aún más como en casa. Incluso nos preparábamos zumo de naranja cada mañana con las naranjas de los árboles que hay en la propiedad. Las vistas son espectaculares desde cualquier rincón donde se miren. Realmente vale la pena hospedarse en este lugar. Las respuestas de Pablo y el servicio de Afonso fue excepcional desde antes de nuestra llegada: el recibimiento, la disponibilidad para resolver cualquier duda, e incluso la ayuda que nos brindaron con una situación relacionada con el auto rentado. ¡Todo fue impecable!

C'est une maison très agréable, située dans un environnement paisible. L'accueil par Gloria était très cordial et les propriétaires Ana et Victor ont été disponibles pour nous indiquer la marche à suivre lors de notre arrivée en soirée. Nous y étions venus il y a 5 ans et nous reviendrons si possible.

Estava tudo maravilhoso, foram todos extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos. Vistas incríveis e com imensas atividades para passar um bom fim de semana
