We had an unforgettable stay at The Donkey Farm! Joan's warm welcome and farm tour made us feel right at home. The real stars of the show were the adorable donkeys - we fell head over heels in love! Feeding and patting them was a highlight of our stay. The house was spotless and offered plenty of activities to enjoy. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay! We can't recommend The Donkey Farm highly enough.

The cabin was just what we needed for our two week stay in Canberra visiting family. The space was ideal for the two of us (elderly folk) and we used the separate bedroom for our clothes, storing suitcases, etc. Both the bed and the sofa were very comfortable and all the linen looked almost new. The kitchen area has an induction cooktop, separate oven, microwave, large fridge and washing machine. Excellent saucepans and frypans. However, as we use airBnB accommodation to cut travel costs by cooking our own food, a few extra items (coffee plunger, serving dishes, colander, tongs and breadknife, for example) would have been welcome. The area is suburban so there was background noise such as dogs and young children but no traffic noise. It is a short walk to the Watson shops (nice cafe, supermarket with fantastic deli, takeaway and chemist) and a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest light rail stop. Parking is outside on the road. Overall, a great place to stay. Congratulations, Wendy.

Yass Country Retreat lived up to our expectations and was perfect for us as a base to explore the region. The property was clean, well furnished and stocked with many extras not always provided in similar properties. The hosts were very proactive and responsive in their communication making sure that we were comfortable and ready to accommodate any requests we may have had. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet but central place to stay in the Yass region.

Location beautiful amazing valley view sunrise/sunset 🌅 & moonlight 🌕 exquisite viewing along with fire 🔥 pit on a cool evening. Pingwei Truly a Super Star 🌟 Host kind caring clear prompt in communicating. It was a beautiful 😍 place & space for our furry friends 🐾 who simply basked in the freedom of Nature 🌞 🌲 🌕 we will definitely be returning & feel relaxed rested 😌 & rejuvenated ☺️ & Truly Blessed to have experience of Valley View 🏡 @ OrigunalFarm deep gratitude to Pingwei & her parents for generously kindly sharing this sacred space 🙏🐾🌸🐾💝🙏
