Cottage vacation rentals in Marble Lake

We booked last minute due to other plans falling through due to floods in Kentucky. Jo was amazing and got us booked quickly. The cottage was comfortable. The lake was beautiful and peaceful. We will be returning when it's warm. We had an enjoyable trip exploring Shipshewana. We read in the sunroom and loved relaxing with a beautiful view. Thank you Jo for hosting us!

This is a great place. The house was clean and accurately portrayed but what really set it apart were the amenities. Sam thought of everything we would need and had it. Plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen items, condiments, cooking utensils and so much more. The best part were all the lake items. We had kayaks and a boat, two floating mats and plenty of life vests and toys for the kids. He had torches for the bugs, everything was clearly marked. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We spent lots of time in the water and it was right in our backyard. Sam had aluminum foil, off spray, shampoo, and even a basket in the bathroom with toothpaste, eye drops, make up wipes, etc. in the kitchen we had popcorn bags, granola bars, and plenty serving dishes. Everything was there. And also the check out instructions were manageable. Nothing outlandish. Loved that place!! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! A Wonderful Experience at Cozy Hosting! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Hosting, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property is located right on the water, offering great views that made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens, making us feel right at home. I loved spending our mornings with coffee on the deck, soaking in the beautiful scenery. The water was clear, and the deck was even better than described. My wife and kids all felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our week. Stayed for a weekend with mom and sisters. Excellent for what we needed! David was communicative when we needed recommendations or had issues (minor ones like switches not working, etc). Would definitely stay again!

Had a relaxing long weekend with my wife and 3 kids. The kids loved fishing off the dock, playing in the sand, being out on the water on the kayaks, and wading in the water looking for clam's. fishing was good off the dock but didn't have any luck out on the water, but we saw them jumping so theyvare in there. Boat launch was easy to get innand out of. The location was super peaceful with a beautiful sunset over the water while enjoying the fire pit and making smores. House had everything we needed and was super clean and organized. Neighbor's were friendly and even tried to help me fix my boat while it was having issues. Host was responsive but also didn't need to chat much as everything was perfect. would love to stay here again for a long weekend!

We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Where do we even begin? From the moment we arrived, it felt like staying with long-lost relatives who actually like you. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with thoughtful touches that screamed, ‘We’re overachievers, but in a good way.’ The hosts went above and beyond in ways that felt almost suspicious. We opened the fridge to find bubbly waiting for us (are we royalty now?), and there were chocolates on the counter like they somehow knew our love language. As if that wasn’t enough, we spent an unforgettable evening soaking in the hot tub while it snowed, overlooking the most serene lake view we’ve ever seen. It was like being in a Hallmark movie but without the small-town drama. Every detail was so thoughtful, from the cozy blankets to the recommendations that made us feel like locals. This wasn’t just a stay; it was an experience we’ll be talking about for years. If you’re considering booking, do it. Just don’t book the weekend we want to come back, okay?

The cabin was exactly as described. There were only 3 of us in our group, and we had plenty of space to move around. The kitchen area had everything we needed. Our favorite place on the property was the hot tub, deck overlooking the lake and the fire pit-- and basically ALL of the outdoor amenities. We loved sitting around the fire watching the stars.

We had a lovely stay at this amazing home! It was a great long weekend get away for our family. The home was exactly like the pictured and Shelly’s communication was fantastic. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and playing ping pong. The deer walking through the snow and the beautiful surroundings made for a very relaxing weekend! We would love to come back in warmer weather and experience this home in other seasons. Highly recommend!

We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

Alicia's place was perfect for the 7 of us on our quick get away weekend.
