Fantastic stay!!! We were 3 people staying here for 5 nights. Located just 30 minutes outside Bologna up in the mountains with a stunning view. We each got a bedroom, all of which were cool despite the heat outside. Luxurious with 2 bathrooms with both shower and toilet when there are several people. There is everything you need and even a washing machine if you are there for a long time and need to do laundry. Every morning, there were freshly baked goodies outside the door for us, which the gentleman who owns the house had arranged. Incredibly quiet and peaceful and the only thing you hear throughout the day is the chirping of the different birds. We'd love to come back here❤️

Magnificent historic place, magnificent host: Caterina was always attentive to us, communication was very fast and she is wonderful, without being overwhelming, but always ready to help us. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in an authentic place, in direct contact with nature and with the best possible host. We will definitely be back. A big hug to Caterina

Everything was great. The house is lovingly decorated and clean. The house has everything you need, the location is wonderful and close enough to Bologna. We can only recommend the house.

Large multipurpose terrace in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, great hosts and communications, great value for money. 30 minutes from small city restaurants and groceries.

Gorgeous modern space in a great location just a short walk to many sights in the historic city center. The apartment is beautifully appointed. The name of the apartment is Silence House, but we did hear quite a bit of street noise at night. That may have been bad timing as there was a festival in the city center that weekend. We had a rental car but the garage wasn’t available for use - if you need the garage, check with the host beforehand. The host got us a ZTL pass to park nearby, but the timing was bad with the festival and I had to drive around for close to an hour to find a parking spot. The hosts were always very quick to respond to any messages. They proactively checked in with us to see how things were going during our stay. If you want to stay in the city center, this is your modern home away from home.

Accommodation surrounded by nature, spacious...with everything you need for a vacation of a few days. Beautiful surroundings and great for a hike in the woods around you... narrow and steep access road but accessible by car... necessary to get around... immersed in a small, very quiet village... We came back with the memory of the previous year's experience still alive, and this time, too, every expectation was exceeded. The hosts once again proved to be attentive, caring and very respectful of the needs of the guests. The house is cared for in every detail, with impeccable cleanliness that makes it welcoming and pleasant from the first moment. The location is a real cure-all for getting away from the daily routine: immersed in nature, it offers tranquility and a wonderful view. Even with high summer temperatures (35°C), you can stay comfortably outdoors, enjoying a pleasant freshness and regenerating peace. It's the ideal solution both for groups of friends – as in our case, for a reunion – and for large families. We came back and we will definitely come back again. Thanks again!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

This house was amazing, we brought our 3 dogs along and had the best time. An extremely private garden and pool with lots of games. She provided all bbq equipment, portable speaker, TVs loads of towels everything you’d need. Dorella was a fantastic host and it’s a really lovely comfortable home. The pool is the big selling point and it didn’t disappoint

Million dollar view. Marco and Laura are the most wonderful hosts and we would happily return to this lovely property. They went out of their way to accommodate us and our guests. The property was exactly what we needed: being two, two bedroom houses, side-by-side; we had privacy, as did our guests. The property is well equipped and we enjoyed using the fire bbq, the pool, playing pool in the evenings. Cooking was delightful, using an extensive array of herbs and vegetation from the garden, planted by Marco and Laura. Our hosts have filled cupboards with towels for the house and for use at the pool and there is a washing machine in each property and a clothes line for drying. The wifi is good. Warm evenings sat at the al fresco patio table, with an exceptional view of snowy mountains and a mountain rock that inspired Dante’s Inferno, is very special. We loved Ruth's house. The perfect place to relax, enjoy the tranquility, nature and the pool. Although we had a car, Ruth told us how to get to Bologna better by train and it was a success. We were also in Florence. Ruth has treated us like part of her family and has had numerous details, both with us and especially our 10-month-old baby. Thank you!!

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful place in the middle of nature, quiet and peaceful everywhere. The apartment looked like in the photos, as well as the pool and the garden with a great view. Francesca was very kind, we felt at home here:)

Vittorio and Rosa Maria were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Vittorio provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit including a winery and cheese making factory. Also we had a fantastic meal cooked by Rosa Maria. It is a good base to visit other cities such as Modena and Parma (and others) by road or by train. The house was spacious, well equipped and felt like more like a family home with books, comfortable sofas a lovely sitting room and bedrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay and had a great holiday. We absolutely loved our stay in Modena! The apartment was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed—it truly felt like a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we especially appreciated how dark it was at night. The bed was super comfy, and the space was thoughtfully set up for a relaxing stay. Alessandro was incredibly kind and quick to respond to any questions, which made everything easy and stress-free. We completely fell in love with Modena and can’t wait to come back and stay here again—more memories and more pasta!

Very quiet and relaxed accommodation very good to escape the fast pace of everyday life

Spacious, well arranged and well-equipped apartment. Quiet environment and close to shops, Modena, Maranello etc .... very quickly accessible. Cristian is super responsive and very welcoming.

Ideal accommodation for a traveler, comfortable for a good night's sleep as in a hotel room, Elisabetta's pleasant welcome in addition! The surrounding streets are beautiful and pleasant, small lively neighborhood with lots of bars and restaurants around the corner. The building is peaceful and the accommodation is on the courtyard. The historic center is just around the corner. Impeccable bathroom and bedroom, neat linen. As stated in the listing, the room does not have a kitchen, but a small fridge, coffee maker, kettle and microwave that can help. Elisabetta lives in the building and responds to any need with kindness, while leaving the field open. I highly recommend especially for a business trip and hope to be Elisabetta's guest in the near future!

The place is near highway. It was recently renovated. The availability of the parking space is a plus.

Great location for Modena, very close to historical city center and 100 m to Osteria Francescana. Perfect location if you have a car to park and extremely convenient in/out to Modena, especially you are looking to visit nearby attractions such as Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena and Ferrari Museum at Maranello, also nearby cities Parma, Regio Emilia and Bologna.
