The host was very kind, and the check-in process went smoothly. The room was clean and well-organized, and the location was excellent — just a short walk to the subway station. The space felt very warm and cozy, and I could really feel the host’s attention to detail throughout the accommodation. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again next time. Highly recommended!

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

Very nice and very cozy, small studio apartment! Located right at the Hapjeong subway station, you can quickly get anywhere. It is also only about 10-15 minutes on foot to the busy streets of Hongdae. The accommodation is decorated with a lot of love and a sweet handwritten note awaits you. The heart of the accommodation is the cozy sofa and the absolutely fantastic view of the rooftops of Seoul and the mountains in the distance! For people with a lot of luggage, however, it could get a bit tight. But for me alone, it was okay.

If you are looking for a place in Hongdae, this location can’t be beat! Literally steps away from everything! My daughter and I stayed for 9 days. This area is great for young adults or families with young people. We loved the apartment’s proximity to restaurants, shops, convenience stores, & cafes, the view from the room (we could watch street performers at night), the modern feel of the space, large TV, strong A/C, and convenience of having an elevator. Eun-young, our host, was very thoughtful by providing bottled water and snacks upon our arrival, abundant towels, tissue paper, and laundry detergent. She also gave us great suggestions for how to find and map to restaurants and cafes, and recommendations for nearby grocery stores, pharmacies too. She was very responsive and helpful whenever we had a question. As some reviews noted, the beds are on the firmer side, but the pillows and bedding were soft & luxurious. Highly recommend for those who want to be in the heart of Hongdae!

booked the place mainly because of the vibes from the photos and happy to know that they're exactly the same as shown on this site. i love how it's located near to mangwon market and also many other cafes and cute shops surrounding. about 7-8 min walk to the subway station and also very close to hongdae. just need to note that there's no elevator and they only provide small-sized towels (but many of them!). not a problem for us but just a fyi note. love the place, overall would recommend for young group of friends!

Great stay, great location ina quite neighbourhood and very close to Hongdae

We were a group of 4 friends staying at this Airbnb and had an amazing experience. The location was perfect – within walking distance to all the nightlife in Hongdae, yet still quiet enough at night. The hosts were friendly, proactive, and gave clear instructions throughout our stay. Since we were their first guests, they even surprised us with a bottle of wine – Daebak 대박! 🥂 The apartment was newly renovated, spotless, and had modern amenities that made our stay extremely comfortable. The only downside was the lack of an elevator, which made it a bit tough to carry heavy luggage up the stairs. I’ve stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, and this was by far the best one. I hope to return the next time I'm in Seoul. Highly recommended! 🎉

Everything was as pictured in the post. It's a small space, but just enough for two people. This place is connected to the subway, which was super convenient! Host was quick and responsive to my questions. I had a problem with the TV and she sent someone to fix it the next day. Check-in was super easy, she had a guide with pictures which really helped. Overall, would stay here again!

I had a fantastic stay at this lovely accommodation near Hongdae in Seoul. The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around the city incredibly convenient. What truly made the stay memorable, though, was the wonderful host. She was very patient and responsive, always happy to answer all of our questions, no matter how big or small. One thing that impressed us was how quickly the host responded to our feedback. When we mentioned the electric kettle's little problem, she replaced it with a brand new one right away. She also kindly allowed us to store our luggage for a short time after check-out, which made our travel plans much smoother. Overall, I highly recommend this property and the host to anyone visiting Seoul. It was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful hospitality!

It is a little off Mangridan-gil, so it is quiet. There are many convenient facilities such as supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants nearby, and it is also close to Mangwon Market. It's close to Mangwon Hangang Park, so it's great for a walk. The accommodation is exactly as pictured, and the balcony and dining area are beautiful. It was a little far from the subway station, but the bus stop was close, so there was no major inconvenience in getting around. There is a water purifier, so you don't have to buy water separately, and there is no coffee and tea. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided, but you must bring a toothbrush, toothpaste, and razor. The big room is a little hotter than the small room, so I think that's why you only put a small fan in the big room. And it was nice to have a washing machine so I could do simple laundry.

Eden was super helpful throughout the stay, the instructions and guide made it clear on what to do so there was no confusion at all. Secondly, the location is super convenient, connected to the metro station made it easy to travel around Seoul. Most attractions and neighbourhoods were just a 30 minute metro ride away. The view is also great, with lot of natural sunlight. The only minor reminder would be to bring your own bigger towels! Eden provided more than enough hand towels but if you’re not used to it, you can bring your own bath towels for comfort. My partner and I adjusted fine. Overall, great stay!

Host was very responsive, the location of the place is amazing and close to a lot of cool shops and restaurants. The place came stocked with everything you might need for a short stay in a new city (dishes, laundry soap, etc). Highly recommend!

We always try to get this location when getting to Seoul and we’re very happy when we could reserve this one again. Juyeon is very helpful and responsive. The apartment is in a perfect spot to get around Seoul with public transport. One hidden gem is walking through the Forrest line which starts close by. Recommend very much. 🙏

Wonderful and clean apartment for three people! Very close to the Guro Digital Complex metro station with lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby too. Right opposite is a cycling path which connects to the wider cycling network of Seoul -- rent a bike with an app and you're good to go! Moonhyung was patient with our queries and was very clear in his instructions, which we appreciated a lot. His friendliness was appreciated too! A small detail in case you want to exercise -- a shared gym is listed in the amenities, but you have to pay to use it. Also, the TV is not a smart TV if you need that! Other than that, it was a comfortable and quiet stay :)

This place is definitely a recommendation for any family. Having 3 bathrooms was great, especially with teens. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. They were responsive and helpful. Being above a bakery was great. Sinchon station exit 7 is just a 5 minute walk. There are several convenient stores around and an E-Mart for groceries with a Daiso next to it. Great location.

Great location with numerous restaurants in the area, and access to multiple subway lines as well! The place was quaint and the small touch of setting up the radio to Seoul’s classical music station was really nice. We can’t wait to come back for another trip in the future!

The place is quiet and spacious compare to the other airbnb's in seoul. Definitely very worth the buck. It may be quite far from the central seoul but it is very accessible to subway line 4. Convenience stores and a lot of restaurants nearby.

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

We enjoyed our stay here! Location was pretty close to good restaurants and shopping in Hongdae/Hongik Station area. The host let us know that the room was ready for check in earlier than the expected time and it was very convenient that they had an area for secured luggage storage. The air conditioner worked great and bed was very comfortable! Only issue we had was figuring out how to get warm water for a shower but would stay again!

It was a very pleasant stay, very close to Hongdae, I think Hongdae is the best place to visit, and the homestay is very close to the subway station bus station, so it is very convenient to stay here.The homestay is very cozy and feels very homey. The room is not the same as a normal homestay. There are kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, and even curling hair sticks. It is super friendly to girls, and the surrounding environment is very quiet. At night, you don't have to worry about being noisy.The host is also huge and responsive.It's very hard to walk around, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I come.

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!
