Vacation rentals in Manthyrea

This is a great place to stay. The location is excellent - walkable to town, but a little bit outside of it. There are lovely views from the second floor. The unit and the surroundings are well-kept. Value seemed very good. One thing that was somewhat unclear to me from the listing is that it's a two-unit building. The main downside of this is that I was occasionally able to hear voices through the wall. The pool is shared (which is fine, and I never encountered anyone there). Otherwise the location is quite private. Note: I didn't have any reason to see the second bedroom, which has its own entrance from the outside, but I have no reason to think that it's other than as advertised. All in all, a lovely spot, and a great value. I'd be very happy to stay again.

The place truly felt like home – very clean, well-equipped, and full of positive energy. We loved the good vibe with the cats and dogs, which made our stay even more special. Communication with Melina was smooth and easy, and we really enjoyed the warm conversation with her lovely mother. One of the better places we’ve stayed at, in a beautiful region surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We loved our time in Poros and this special apartment full of character! The welcome on arrival, from the on-duty tabby cat too, made us feel right at home. The spacious terrace and front bedroom offer a spectacular view. And nearby beaches—though not the cleanest—were quiet prior to Easter and great for our needs. Poros was lively and charming on its own terms just before the main holiday season, with lots of dining options. Exploring the lanes was a delight, but involved many stairs—worth noting if you arrive on foot with heavy bags (and a wild toddler!): It’s easier, if slightly longer, to follow car routes into the upper town—Googlemapping driving routes can help. Otherwise the ferry dock is only 10–15mins on foot if you're unloaded. We didn’t attempt long walks with our 2-year-old, but the island has great hiking potential, and we enjoyed stunning views during a short car hire. Spiros ensured smooth communication via Mary, his helpful housekeeper. We'll remember our stay fondly.

Beautiful home, well kept and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. 5 min walk to the bus stop, which was great for our stay because we did not rent a car and went all around the region with day trips with fantastic service from Ktel. A 10 min walk from two plateias / squares with ample food and drink and shopping options. Further from the beach by foot, but only costs 5 euros to get a taxi to the beach and boardwalk and a 10 min drive. Highly recommend this stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is spacious, sunny, clean and comfortable. It is thoughtfully decorated and there is everything you need to feel right at home. The location is great, right across the park / square, a view of the ocean, and right in the centre so you can walk to all of the great restaurants and shops. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

The level of attention and detail provided by the team was unparalleled. I felt as though we had a private concierge on hand for anything we needed. Stunning space, the type of home you don’t want to leave. Bravo!

We loved Xylokastro and this is largely because of the apartment we stayed in. Easy access to everything we needed and with very good renovation! Both in the spaces and the mattresses, which are necessary for rest. The evening breeze on the balcony in the heat was great!

Host was responsive and checking in and out was very easy. Place is as described. It's great that all bedrooms have attached bathrooms but a couple of the bathrooms were rather small. We were a group of 10 adult friends but if you have both adults and children up to 10 it will be very comfortable. The villa is located on a little hilltop so the sunset daily was so beautiful...nature at its best. We had 3 days of wedding reception, planned lunches, dinners and drinks nearby so the location is perfect for us. The drive downhill (parts of it along the beautiful coast) is about 30 minutes to town and 45 minutes to the airport. Excellent stay. Thanks Nikos.

incredibly beautiful penthouse apartment with two huge roof terraces and views of mountains and sea. Only a few steps to the beach with promenade and many restaurants as well as shopping. Superbly decorated and thought out until the very last, there were even cooling pads in the ice cooling compartment. The communication with Christina was very, pleasant, great was the flexibility to check in and out. We will be happy to come back :)
