Vacation rentals in Mannal

We had a wonderful stay here as a group of 5 adults and 1 dog. The location was fantastic, we enjoyed taking in the views from the kitchen window. The property is also a short walk from the airport cafe which we visited each day. Ameneties were good, making our stay very comfortable.

A beautiful, serene location with scenic views of the south coast of the island. There are lovely viewpoints just outside the cabin; waking up to the view of the water each morning felt like a delightful treat. The amenities were as described and the host gave clear instructions as well as recommendations for things to do in the area. A wonderful little cabin and magnificent scenery!

We were blown away by the host and the place. We were given lovely and clear instructions ahead of arrival and were greeted with a warm fire and a clean, welcoming home. The grounds are heavenly and you feel completely private with gorgeous views. The rooms are all spacious and clean. We even got great recommendations of places to visit while we were there and anything we needed the horse was responsive and beyond helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better escape for a few days on the beautiful Skye and we hope to be back soon. Anyone would be lucky to stay here and would recommend to anyone interested in visiting. The place is perfect to enjoy on a rainy day, snuggled in front of the fire or bask in the sunshine in the beautiful garden. We can’t wait to return and we miss it already.

Sleat View pod is just lovely :) We had a mid week stay for a week of sea kayaking in and around Arisaig which is beautiful. The pod itself is calm, peaceful and spotless. We were instantly relaxed and on holiday mode from the moment we stepped in. We made use of the local amenities which are in walking distance and enjoyed a bit of train spotting! On our last morning (an early start) a Deer was stood looking at us from the grass opposite which made our week. We loved Sleat View pod - thanks both for a lovely stay.

A perfect weekend break ! Despite the rain, it was wonderful. The location on the shore is idyllic and our retriever was never out of the sea - until the tide went out ! We saw seals a few times which was lovely. The bothy is really well equipped and has everything you need for cooking and staying warm. The solar inside lights were super efficient and lasted all evening and we cooked a whole (delicious) chicken, bought from the farm in the oven. Dave and Alison are wonderful hosts. The island cafe is the perfect refuge from the rain for soup, hot sandwiches and lovely cakes. As advised on the listing, if possible, take wellies. We would love to come back !

Shorefield was a delight to stay in. The views were breathtaking from the house and we could even catch the sunrise. Pi also provided boardgames which provided loads of fun for our family.

Excellent pod, really makes you realise you didn’t need a full blown house, sometimes it’s good to keep things simple! Had all we needed. The only thing we’d suggest, more so for those with dogs, is perhaps a fenced off area that separates the pod from the bungalow next door. Especially as the decking area is not secure if wanting to be outside. Would benefit both parties to have a bit more privacy and security for four legged friends. But Deans lovely, great communication throughout and pod comfy, warm and well equipped.

Spent a wonderful week at Eileen’s cottage. It was warm, spotlessly clean, comfortable and set in the most beautiful and peaceful surrounding area. Ten minutes walk to stunning beaches, with views over to Eigg, Rhum and Skye. Eileen was a most friendly and considerate host. We hope to return soon. Karen, Grant and George (our cat).😀😽
