Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Manitoulin Island

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at William & Priscilla’s place. We were in town to visit with my adult daughter who lives nearby and celebrate her birthday. I was able to make all her favourite meals in the very well stocked kitchen including baking her cookies & cakes from scratch. There were plenty of cooking pans, dishes, frying pans pots, cutting boards, knives, baking tools, a bbq, a huge fridge & freezer, dishwasher, spices, salt & pepper, sugar, coffee etc. They were incredibly nice and accommodating when a couple of small kitchen tools broke (a whisk, hand blender & can opener all broke during regular use) they quickly came over with replacements and were so lovely to chat with. I felt very comfortable and very much “at home” in this space. It felt like we were staying at a family cottage rather than an air bnb, loads of character.

Great place to stay and see family while in town, quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful beach nearby. Home has some excellent features. Beds are comfy. Very bright and sunny home. Love the older accent furniture. My husband loved the poached egg pan! Thanks for the great stay!

We were on Manitoulin Island for a Celebration of Life Ceremony, and while we flew in from Victoria, BC, we had friends and relatives driving to the Island from all over Ontario and most stayed at the nearby Hotel. Inessa's place was perfect for hosting the family and friends after the ceremony--plenty of room for everyone, a nice fire pit in the front yard for the evening, plenty of seating in the main living room and adjoining dining area. Everyone was impressed with the place, and asked for more information. I spent several summers on the Island as a child at my grandfather's cottage on Lake Mindemoya, and at my great uncles' farms nearby. Even though the area had changed a bit since I was last there, it felt very much like home to me, and even more so having a fantastic place to stay for a few days after and to explore the Island. Inessa responded to all my questions in a timely manner, was always friendly and accommodating--couldn't ask for a better place!

Absolutely wonderful stay! We had such a lovely time at this beautiful Airbnb on Manitoulin Island. The home was spotless, cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful! The location is peaceful, scenic and very central to explore the island. Outstanding location, beautiful and well appointed home, and exceptional hosts. No need to drive or pay for parking, Westwater is a five minute walk from the charms and activities of Tobermory Harbour’s cruises, shops and restaurants. Also a short walk to Bruce Peninsula National Park’s Visitor Centre. The apartment’s honey-amber wood panelling, beams and furniture welcome you to relax but with all the modern appliances, conveniences and supplies you could hope for… and more! The huge walk-out deck has views of Georgian Bay and the ferry to Manitoulin Island. Spend the evening lounging or having a refreshment while viewing the Georgian Bay sunset. Enjoy a barbecue or sit around a cozy fire pit stocked with wood and kindling. The best part of your stay are Joyce and Mike; warm, welcoming and knowledgeable hosts who greet you and regularly check in to ensure your stay is better than you ever imagined!

I was very happy with my stay here. The cottage is very cozy and quiet, and is in a great location to get around Tobermory. The host was very responsive and helpful anytime I had questions.

Very enjoyable stay. Cottage has chic, rustic charm with modern amenities and decor. Gorgeous sunsets on the water. Private, large property. Enjoyed a kayak paddle on clear, refreshing Lake Manitou.

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Bardon’s place in Elliot Lake was spotless and cozy, making us feel right at home. Brandon was a thoughtful host and made our stay truly enjoyable!

Larissa was very responsive with any questions I had during the stay. The entire place was spotless, and had a very relaxing ambiance. It felt like a house straight out of HGTV. The mattresses on the bunk beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the railing on the top bunk felt very sturdy. Overall great weekend stay!

A great basement apartment, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A perfect spot for exploring the beautiful island. Hosts friendly and helpful

This is a lovely house in the area, clean and quiet, located near waterfront and downtown of Little Current, very convenience for people to explore this beautiful town!

Plan to not want to get out of bed! It’s so comfortable and the bedding is excellent. The bedroom is dark and quiet. Kristina and Sophie have thought of everything. Every kitchen appliance you could need, housecoats, games and even mosquito coils so you can enjoy the backyard.

Rene and Sandra were great hosts. They accommodated us very well with lots of parking for our trucks and trailers and access to the lake for fishing. They went above and beyond on our check out date which helped us out greatly. They always responded very quickly and check in was a breeze. Beautiful views as well. Would recommend to anybody.

Had a great couple of days stay at Sue's place. Our dog enjoyed the beach that is so close to this place (3-4 minutes walking). Bathroom was clean and a full kitchen is available for use. Massive massive TV! All in all, up to expectations in all ways. Thanks, Sue!
