Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Mani Peninsula

Het was net een droom. Wat een fantastisch plekje. Slapen met de deuren open, wakker worden met vol zeezicht. Luieren op de ligbedjes of helemaal alleen zwemmen op het kleine strandje. Het huisje is klein maar fijn. Brandschoon. Goed bed. Keuken en badkamer bevatten alles wat je nodig bent. Je krijgt precies wat je boekt vanaf de foto. Er zijn nog een paar huisjes op het terrein maar die staan achter dit huis. Dus daar merk je niets van. Vlak bij het super leuke Stoupa. Allerlei kleine strandjes met tavernes heel dicht bij. Wij hebben intens genoten.

we loved the spaciousness and peacefulness of this villa and its grounds. The host provided many amenities in the kitchen, and a basket full of goodies, olive oil, jams, and wine. The beach was a short walk down the road, with a bar café, right on the water to have coffee or drink. It was a short drive to town, or less than a mile to walk. comfortable beds, outdoor balcony to gaze at the stars, a large covered porch outside the kitchen door, and a dining area under the olive trees. As close to paradise as anything we could have hoped for.

Εξαιρετικό σπίτι, με όλες τις ανέσεις, το οποίο καλύπτει όλες τις ανάγκες και απαιτήσεις. Πάρα πολύ καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, σε ήσυχη περιοχή, που διαθέτει πολλά εστιατόρια και καφέ τριγύρω. Η κα Καίτη είναι υπέροχη και πολύ εξυπηρετική και προνοητική. Σε κάθε μας αίτημα απαντούσε πάρα πολύ άμεσα, ενώ πριν φτάσουμε στο σπίτι μας είχε στείλει πληροφορίες αναλυτικές για το τι μπορούμε να κάνουμε στην περιοχή, σχετικα με το φαγητό, κα. Σίγουρα την επόμενη φορά που θα κατεβούμε προς Καλαμάτα και τα περίχωρα, θα προτιμήσουμε αυτό το σπίτι!

Beautiful house in the heart of the village, with a small beach a few seconds away and several of great restaurants. The house is beautifully designed and very comfortable, with three large bedrooms that all equally nice and a shaded roof terrace. It is opposite a bar so there is some sound in one bedroom but it didn’t disturb us. More quiet murmuring than noise. Communication was good. The kitchen is good and being in the middle of the village is really fun. Kardamyli is lovely ( this was our 4th trip I think) with lots to do in the area. Even in August you can drive up the mountains and hike and the beaches are varied and relaxing. Tikla and Elies were our pick of the restaurants. A great stay.

Very cozy and lovely apartment with a spacious terrace and amazing view. Well equipped with everything you need. The location is very convenient — just a 5–10 minute walk to basically anywhere in Leonidio — and it has a parking spot right in front of the house. We would definitely choose it again!

Ημασταν μία παρέα φίλων με παιδιά.. Μια μικρή ανασκόπηση για την διαμονή μας καθως φύγαμε και ήδη σχεδιαζουμε το επομενο stay!! Η τοποθεσία είναι υπέροχη, ήμασταν σε μια σχεδόν ιδιωτική παραλια και μας παρείχε και κανό και sup! Και τα παιδιά και εμείς ξετρελαθηκαμε. Ο καλύτερος προορισμός για διακοπες.Ο οικοδεσπότης πολύ εξυπηρετικός!Επίσης, μας άρεσε το στυλ και η μικρες λεπτομεριες διακόσμησης και οργάνωσης που κάνουν την διαφορά! Κάποιες λεπτομεριες ίσως να θέλουν αντικατάσταση. Θα ήθελα να παρέχει air conditioning.. ενώ έξω είχε μια δροσιά καλύτερη!! οι ανεμιστήρες δεν βοήθησαν πολύ..Τα στρώματα πάντως πολύ άνετα!Και ολα πολύ καθαρα. Πολύ έξυπνα οργανωμένη κουζινα καθώς και ευχάριστη έκπληξη τα dimmer στο σαλόνι!και τα φρέσκα λαχανικά στον κήπο!!Μακράν ή καλύτερη έκπληξη ήταν τα κανό και το sup και η υπέροχη θαλασσα :)σε κοντινή απόσταση εστιατόρια με τα πόδια όπως και mini market και καφέ.Ωραία έπιπλα και άνετο τραπέζι εξω με πάγκο και καρέκλες για φαγητό.Ευχαριστούμε Κωνσταντίνε

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew's house. It's a beautiful stone house in a peaceful location and walking distance to a beautiful sandy beach. The house was very clean and very well equipped. The sunset views from the terrace were amazing. We will definitely be returning.

Ο χώρος της Νατάσσας αξίζει τα 5 αστέρια και με το παραπάνω. Άψογο διαμέρισμα, λειτουργικό, ευρύχωρο, με ωραία πίσω αυλή απόλυτα ιδιωτική. Παρά πολύ καθαρό, ωραία διακόσμηση. Οι παροχές ίσως είναι και παραπάνω από όσες αναφέρονται στην καταχωριση ( πχ καφές πρωινό). Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, ένα τέταρτο με τα πόδια από την παραλία κι άλλο ένα τέταρτο για τα μαγαζιά για να βγεις για ποτό και φαΐ. Ήσυχη γειτονια με εύκολο πάρκινγκ. Η Νατασα ήταν πολύ καλή, ευγενική και διακριτική και απαντούσε αμέσως σε ότι ερώτημα είχαμε. Σιγουρα θα επιλέξουμε τον χώρο για τη διαμονή αν ξαναέρθουμε Καλαμάτα και τον συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα.

We had a great stay at the studio. The host gave us very useful information for the region and answered always fast and very friendly. The location is good for some days near Kalamata.

We can't recommend Stavroula's apartment in Aghios Nikolaos highly enough. The apartment has everything you'd need for a stay. There is a lovely swimming platform 5 minutes walk away with beautiful clear water. There are many very good restaurants, cafes and a decent supermarket about 8 minutes walk away. A 10 or so minute drive away (or 40 minute walk via a beautiful coastal walk/cycle path) is Stoupa with beautiful sandy beaches and a good range of restaurants. Stavroula has to be one of the sweetest people, welcoming us warmly to her apartment, and providing us with a lovely selection of local products. Many people return to her place time and again, and we can completely understand why. Thank you so much Stavroula - we hope to return soon.

Το κατάλυμα ηταν σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, με τα πόδια κυκλοφορησαμε στο κέντρο της πόλης, κοντά στα εμπορικά κ στη διασκέδαση. Υπηρχε παρκινγκ δίπλα μας, δεν ταλαιπωρηθηκαμε καθόλου. Ηταν αρκετα εξοπλισμένο, θα μπορούσε κ λίγο περισσότερο. Το διαμερισμα ηταν λιγο μικρότερο απο οτι το περιμενα, δεν ανοιγαν αρκετα οι μπαλκονοπορτες λογω κρεβατιου κ καναπε. Το μπαλκονι πολυ δροσερο κ ομορφο, οπως στις φωτογραφιες. Ο ιδιοκτητης πολυ εξυπηρετικος, τον καλεσα να διορθωσει μια βλαβη κ την επιδιορθωσε αυθημερον. Πολύ καλή επιλογή για διαμονη στο κέντρο αλλα κ για εξορμήσεις στον νομό Μεσσηνίας! Σιγουρα θα ξαναμεναμε!

Η Χρυσούλη απαντούσε άμεσα. Όταν της ζητήσαμε ένα επιπλέον πάπλωμα, το παρείχε άμεσα. Μας επέτρεψε να αφήσουμε τις βαλίτσες μας σε ένα δικό της χώρο πέρα από την ώρα του check out έτσι ώστε να κάνουμε μια τελευταία βόλτα.

Really close to the bus station and in the middle of the old part of Kalamata. Lots of night life from the balcony. Clean and comfortable

Le logement était fidèle aux photos. Une vue absolument exceptionnelle sur la mer. Un appartement gigantesque (3 chambres & 2sdb) , propre, bien situé ! La literie était très confortable. Si vous êtes 2 ou une famille allez y sans hésiter car c'était un excellent point de chute pour visiter la région du Mani. Un parking privé devant l'appartement complète le bien. Notre hôte était super gentille et a été très disponible pour nous aider et de très bon conseil. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation !

My wife and I loved Niko’s place. Great location, we felt right at home. We walked to the supermarket and bought fresh vegetables and made salads. The local restaurants on the path and off were wonderful. So many things to do and see. Niko’s place was wonderful and we hope to stay again when we return!

J'ai passé un excellent séjour dans l'appartement d'Emmanouela. Il est parfaitement situé (la vue est splendide), spacieux, propre, bien aménagé et surtout incroyablement bien équipé. On se sent comme à la maison et c'est un réel confort quand on est en voyage. Cerise sur le gâteau, Emmanouela est très professionnelle, arrangeante et sympathique. L'arrivée se faisant en totale autonomie, j'ai eu plusieurs questions à lui poser une fois sur place et elle a toujours répondu rapidement et en proposant des solutions. Les instructions tant pour arriver à l'appartement que pour sa prise en main étaient détaillées et parfaitement claires. Bref, tout a été parfait et le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable. Une pépite en somme !

We booked this place in order to have a more relaxing slow paced time after busy sight seeing elsewhere for the previous 7 weeks. This apartment was just what we were after. Magnificent view for starters, that you’ll never grow bored of. The apartment is a real home with a well appointed kitchen and quality appliances. You’ll have all the supplies you need, Nikos goes over and above to supply everything. Beds are comfortable and the place is so quiet. Kalamata was easy to get around & the apartment was close to supermarkets & restaurants. Highly recommend this fabulous place and it’s definitely worth the money.

Maria est une hôte réactive qui n'hésite pas à donner des recommandations d'activités. Le logement est confortable avec tout ce qui est utile pour le confort des voyageurs (sèche cheveux, produits ménagers...). Le logement est parfait pour une famille, proche de la mer pour s'amuser avant de partir visiter les alentours. Énormément de sites intéressants autour. Merci à Maria pour sa gentillesse

L'endroit est enchanteur. Une énorme terrasse qui donne sur la baie de Portoheli, ombragée par des arbres majestueux. La maison fait partie d'un ensemble de maisons appartenant à la famille d'Ornella et de son mari. Pour les Pâques orthodoxes, toute la famille est arrivée, et on entendait tous les matins et tous les soirs les chants liturgiques qui résonnaient de l'église de l'autre côté de la baie. Nous avons passé d'innombrables heures sur la terrasse à lire et à contempler la beauté autour de nous. La région est riche en sites. A 1 heure de route, on peut visiter Mycènes, Epidaure, Tyrinthe, Nauplie. Les îles Spetses, Poros et Hydra. Ornella nous a conseillé des restaurants à Portoheli, où nous avons très bien mangé à un prix tout à fait raisonnable. Bref: je conseille le séjour et j'y retournerai avec plaisir!

A very nice apartment in a great location in Kalamata. Stauroula is kind, friendly, and speaks excellent English. We’ve had a pleasant, month-long stay here in the autumn, the flat is comfortable and practical. Our whale of a car was a bit tricky to park, since Greek parking spots tend to be on the smaller side, but having a dedicated, roofed parking spot was super nice to have! I also liked that the apartment has a very cool terrace, an awesome place to have my morning coffee in the sun. Having a bathtub is a nice extra (not many Greek apartments have one!), but it’s a bit on the slim side, I’m a fairly large fellow by Greek standards so it was a bit of a tight fit for me. ;) The internet is 8 Mbit/s at its best, we used our own instead, as that’s not very useful these days.
