Enjoyed our stay at Eric and Penny’s property. The house accommodated our needs and was very clean upon arrival. Communication with hosts was excellent throughout our stay and really liked they provided water, a coffee bar and delicious snacks for all of us to enjoy! Kitchen was very well stocked and the bathrooms well stocked also with plenty of towels and toiletries. Plenty of room for our guests to relax and rest after busy days of visiting the area. Check in and check out were very easy and stress free. House was tastefully decorated and the property was well maintained. Location was good with plenty to do in the local area. Highly recommend!

We had a very nice stay; the house and grounds were immaculate, and as shown. They had two outdoor dining tables which are great for outdoor dining, four lounge chaises, and four Adirondack chairs. We enjoyed being outside on the pool deck in the afternoon after a day of touring. The pool was cold as expected, although, I know the hosts are planning a pool heater in the near future. The inside of the home was very cozy and welcoming, but still quite spacious. The hosts were welcoming and responsive. Great stay! Thanks again!

Excellent stay! Accommodated two adults, two teens, and three children with ease. Loved the location; felt secluded and private while close enough to walk or make a short drive to the lakefront, playgrounds, restaurants, shops, etc. We would definitely return.

Very unique place. We enjoyed the grounds and sitting by the fire outside. Our fur baby enjoyed exploring too. It was relaxing and peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. We also drove into nearby Covington and had a great lunch at LOLA.

This was a very lovely spot for a weekend get away. It had the benefit of feeling very private, secluded, and safe while also being no more than a 15 minute drive from activities and places to eat. Great location - close to downtown, restaurants, parks, university, churches, etc. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Tasha was a responsive and friendly host. Spent lots of time on the large front porch enjoying the spring weather. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Myrtle cottage is everything we expected and more, but the true gem is Bobbie herself. She has a beautifully appointed house, meticulously clean and she has thought of everything to make you feel welcome. We frequently visit the North Shore and this is by far and away the top choice of all the places we have stayed. She takes Southern hospitality to a new level! We enjoyed the wildlife, beautiful surroundings and peaceful property. There are plenty of places to explore and visit within 20-30 minutes, and the restaurants in the area will not disappoint. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven and visiting Bobbie our resident Southern angel.

Loved this place! I’m an Airbnb host so I’m shamefully picky about places. This place was terrific. Love that there were different pillows in the closet so you could find the one you like best, there’s coffee, creamer, and sugar, and we really enjoyed sipping coffee on the deck. Great location close to the water. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Such an awesome place to stay! Fantastic responsive host who got me everything I wanted and knew the local area. Extremely friendly and professional. The place was super quiet. Much of the nearby town has train noise but not here. It was a few miles outside of town, super peaceful, in a great nature setting near a pond. Outdoor seating available. My best stay anywhere. Super comfortable bed as well. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Jayson's home. The house is very well stocked with everything you need. The layout of the house is very functional, and the deck was a great place to relax and socialize. It was so close to our planned activities. We were there for riding bikes on St. Tammany Trace and a jazz concert at the Dew Drop Jazz & Social Hall. Jayson's house is very close to the trail and is a 5–10-minute bike ride to Dew Drop.

Jules provided great communication through the whole stay. Very friendly and sent helpful info. The place itself was clean and exactly like it looks in the pictures. Plenty of extra linens and towels (we didn't need them, but really nice to know they were there if we did!). If we were to swing by, we'd definitely stay with her again and would recommend to family/friends. Thank you Jules for a great stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here. Very peaceful with an awesome view. Enjoyed our afternoons in the hot tub and catching some fish. The homemade muffins were a plus and delicious. Will definitely stay here again if ever in the area. Ashley was a great host and very quick to answer any questions we had.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! We were surprised by the amenities and can honestly say that Dana thought of everything a person might need. There was ample space indoors and we appreciated the yard. The location is great. There are many places to eat nearby and we were able to hop on the freeway quickly. We would definitely stay at this location again!

Lisa was a great hostess. She gave us great recommendations on local restaurants and things to do from fishing to shopping and groceries. The house was exactly as pictured and described. My guests and I had a great stay and enjoyed the beautiful sights from the deck. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!! We will definitely be back.

Completely met our needs we did not want to be in the thick of things we wanted to go visit plantations and do some swamp tours. We did drive about 30 minutes to see some things on one day drive into New Orleans at about an hour but I would rather drive 30 miles at 30 minutes in no traffic then 5 miles at 30 minutes in traffic. This location suited our needs..

We had the best time experiencing the natural and urban cultures in the bayou! Henry’s place is amazing, clean, comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and fun! Crabbing, fishing, hot tubbing, cooking and relaxing in…and venturing into NOLA was so easy with so much to explore …and a day beach trip to Bay St. Louis was a nice surprise with gorgeous and clean white sandy beaches for miles and a cute seaside town. What a gem of a spot! A perfect blend of relaxation and exploration! The perfect family adventure!

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb while visiting New Orleans! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to all the action but in a quiet area that allowed for a good night’s rest. The host was incredibly responsive. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay in NOLA!

if you like camping, but you want running water a toilet and a shower and a comfortable bed. This is a place for you. You’re still going to be bothered by your regular pest that you would have outside but not nearly as much and there is Internet, but it’s out in the country so I hope you would enjoy the surroundings instead of trying to be online!
