Vacation rentals with a kayak in Manatee County

The house is beautiful and modern. Smart TV’s in all bedrooms and great room. Nicely decorated, and plenty of natural light. The screened in porch looking over the water and right off the great room was where we spent every morning with our coffee. The bathrooms were modern and well appointed. Large towels for both the bathrooms and the pool. The real gem is the pool/ hot tub area. We stayed six weeks and had most of our grandchildren- nieces and nephews stayed with us for a week at a time. They never left the pool, and their parents never left the hot tub. Both of them had digital controls that we controlled- a real plus. There was nice lounging areas that showed signs of hurricane damage but it was minimal and expected. The next greatest thing we witnessed was an extremely responsive host. Keriann was the best host we have ever encountered. Something missing had it that day, something broke it got fixed within two days and she listened to what we thought would make it better.

This house was perfect for my party of 4 and it was well equipped. We had some initial challenges with the internet and coffee maker and Jennifer went out of her way to help us. She even delivered a new coffee maker within an hour of me reporting an issue. As with any home, things could go wrong but Jennifer was so responsive any challenges were n to an issue. We really enjoyed our stay and felt well taken care of by Jennifer. Lovely property, well equipped and good location.

Joe's place feels like a real home - many AirBnBs can feel like a hotel with a little more space - Joe's house was not that! Complete with a ton of my personal favorite books, tons of kitchen utensils/supplies, a desk, and more. The huge fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and our dogs. The location is right off of a main road that takes you to shopping/amenities within minutes. If you're looking for a great place to feel comfortable while visiting Sarasota, we'd recommend Joe's property to anyone!

We couldn’t have been happier with this adorable little cottage! The home was beautifully decorated, well stocked and spotless when we arrived. When we weren’t taking advantage of the boat we were able to dock right at the house, we were enjoying the pool and private backyard. We were so impressed with the beautiful landscaping especially after the hurricanes last season. The home was perfect for our group of 6 and we definitely plan to return!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. Check-in was perfect and the instructions were well detailed. There are plenty of games and activities in the house to use and enjoy time with the family. The house was very clean and is located just off a main road that has plenty of dining options. Stefan was great and very responsive to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

August is a great host, very responsive and helpful! Whenever we have a request, she will solve it right away. August’s house is so spacious, lots of storages and sitting areas, we were able to watch movies altogether, so nice!! Kitchen has everything we need to cook meals. Love the kayaks and August even brought us a bigger kayak for our need! Thank you! We will come back if we are coming to Tampa again!

Very clean and well maintained. Good location and spacious. We enjoyed our stay there and the host was very friendly and answered our questions quickly. Would not hesitate to stay there again!

We love this little cottage! The view from the back is phenomenal - we even saw a couple gators. The set up is so good for pets. The cottage has everything you need and the primary bed is more comfortable than a hotel bed. 10/10 and would def stay here again!

Our stay was great. Having the Golf Cart was so handy we didn’t have to rent one. The house is nice and clean the bedding towels. Everything was nice and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Location is great, less than 2 minute, very easy walk, to the beach. Quiet street and properties on either side were not disturbing. There is no grass, so if you bring your furbaby, there are walkable areas to let them do their business. The house itself was very clean and not cluttered. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a great washer/dryer combo. There is no screen for the pool, but a quick daily skimming was sufficient. The pool was clean....no algae. There's a beach cart, chairs, floats, beach towels, etc there, so no need to bring your own. The house is older and in the afternoons it gets very warm (78-80) despite keeping blinds closed and setting ac at 74. We were there in the middle of August and we live in the South so are used to the heat so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. There was a box fan that we used.

The Cottage on the Bay was exactly as described. It was very inviting, clean and comfortable. Jack and Carmen were the most hospitable hosts that you could ever meet on your journey. Their communication as hosts was excellent and prompt from the beginning and throughout my stay. They explained that a welcome gift of food and drink is provided for each guest. I explained my food allergies to them. Jack thoughtfully provided substitutions for me instead. The kitchen had a generous array of utensils, pots, pans and essentials. This was an excellent plus for me since cooking was necessary due to my allergies. I considered the location excellent because it is near the airport. This made transportation convenient anywhere from there. The views of the Sarasota Bay sunset were wonderful. I loved walking around the scenic and quiet area. I enjoyed the best vacation stay at the Cottage. Jack & Carmen's hospitality and care took this trip over the top. They are the total package, 💯!
