The cottage is situated at 6 km from Stavelot and Malmedy, in a very small village. The situation is ideal for families who would like to have a break in the middle of the country-side or if you want to go to the circuit of Spa. A lot of walks in forests are available. This is a fantastic place with great amenities - our group enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and many spaces to rest, dance, or eat. The highlight though must be the huge private garden, which has trails, ponds, and many small quirky surprises. We would definitely return here!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Maison de Charme in the Ardennes. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Patrick, and there was even a nice soup ready in the fridge. The accommodation is cozy and nicely furnished. Good hygiene also helps you feel right at home. There is a lovely (well enclosed) garden where you can sit, and have plenty of space to play with the dog. You can easily park the car in front of the house. The area around the accommodation is beautiful, a few meters from the door you can follow several hiking trails. Hike 1 (Lavacherie-Bonne-Dame) along the viewpoint is highly recommended! All in all, had a wonderful vacation and we would love to come back!

We had a wonderful long weekend at Melanie and Hermann's place. I feel like I was visiting my grandpa's house: old building, antiek furniture inside, big carpets on the floor, beautiful dinnerware... Hermann is creator and current director of the Erlebnis museum in Monschau, as a former hunter he has so many stories! It was a unique opportunity for us to touch the wild life so close as we never had it before. They also provides incredible BBQ place with all necessary amenities: just bring the meat with you. This place is a gem in the regio, if you're looking to hit pause on the hustle and bustle of city life and take a breath.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful area and nice reception by owner René. The house was very complete and very clean. We made happy memories with our family. René and his wife even came to bring cake with Mother's Day...very thoughtful. We have one minus point and those are the sleeping pillows on the beds that are too small/thin so we slept poorly, so bring your own pillow (tip). But otherwise, we definitely recommend this home.

It is a large house in a quiet town in the Ardennes. The garden is a fantastic place to spend your time when the weather is nice. In the shed there is a great bbq set, which we put to good use. Communication went smooth through Jenny, and Joseph the owner was very friendly when welcoming us. Even though he only speaks French, he managed give us a great tour of the house.
