One of a Kind Mountain Retreat

My family and I stayed at Joel’s place for the weekend and when it says One of a Kind Retreat- it truly is. We have stayed in more than 30 different Airbnb’s here and abroad and Joel’s was our absolute favorite. The views can’t be beat, the property is so serene and private with trails to walk or run. And the actual space- every detail has been thought of. The beds were very comfortable, the linens were so soft, and the shower was fantastic. Joel himself is so kind and friendly. We hope to return here someday- all in all this place deserves an Academy Award ;)

It was the ideal escape from the city—quiet, private, and surrounded by natural beauty. The location was great: just a short drive to Malibu’s wineries, and local restaurants. We had the best stay at Catherine & Hugh’s AirBnB for a few days leading up to our wedding! The views were seriously unreal and we saw the best sunset we’ve ever seen (and it’ll be hard to beat!) The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Hugh was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and shared so much interesting information with us. Their dog Ozzy was the sweetest boy and the icing on the cake! The house was clean and comfortable, just as pictured in the listing. We spent almost a full day just chilling at the AirBnB and had a blast, it’s not just a place to stay but an experience in and of itself. We had a BBQ, watched the sunset, hiked their property, used their gym, swam in the pool, relaxed in the hot tub, played with their dog and played table tennis/foosball. Thank you for the experience!!

Loved this place so much! Didn’t want to leave! Not only was this place exactly as described it was so convenient to walk to places the beach was private the house was spotless, like really cleaned. I’ve stayed at a lot of air bnbs and they aren’t clean just wiped down. But this house was very clean considering it was on a private beach no sand or weird smells. Beautiful and peaceful host was awesome! I slept so good with the ocean waves, I will be back! Thank you for opening your place up to us and the world it’s a beautiful view and relaxing space.
