Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Malia

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marianthi's and Thodoris' house. The sea side view is just epic; from the hammock you can just chill, look over the sea and the mountains and feel the soft sea breeze. They are truly wonderful hosts, and they quickly responded to any requests from our side and provided us with nice suggestions on places to visit. The house was just beautiful and well cared for, especially the garden and patio were wonderful for our young kids who loved exploring and picking up lemons, that we used to make an amazing lemonade. Many days we started the day by walking to the nearby beach so that the kids could make sandcastles and we could relax into the day. We also enjoyed the restaurants at the beach that have a decent selection and good quality food. We would highly recommend this place to anyone, but especially to families with kids.

The place is exactly like in the photos and Anna is a great host! We had a great time staying there for our girls trip. The place is 5-7 min by foot to the sea and nearest beach & restaurants. Anna was always very kind and responsive when we needed to reach out to her for any questions. I recommend this place to everyone and will stay there again the next time I’m in Crete.

We had a very nice time in Crete and in Marina's place! There were two of us with a child. In this respect, it was very convenient that Stalida beach is only a few hundred meters away on foot. The three of us could sleep well there and have breakfast on the terrace in the morning. We didn't cook - little elaborate food would have been possible. Parking is free directly on the street. The apartment is lovingly and nicely decorated and it was very clean. Communication with Marina is quick and easy. Arrival also possible with code. So happy to come back, warm recommendation. Lovely place to stay and well set up - we had a very comfortable couple of days Fabulous to be welcomed with fresh produce most of which was home grown in the fridge and a bottle of wine as well as oils and vinegar and tea and coffee Would definitely stay there again

The home was so peaceful, quiet, and super close to Knossos. We appreciated being able to walk over right when it opened to beat the crowds. Nikoleta was super communicative and we had no trouble finding the house. I only wish we could have stayed longer - their house is truly magical!

Very comfortable two bedrooms. Fantastic location right on the shore with their own access to the water. A lot of good restaurants with in a walking distance.

This property is on the top of our list of all of the Super-host level properties we’ve been at whether Air B&B or any other platform. Premium quality and high marks for design aesthetics promoting maximum relaxation inside or in the yard with breathtaking views all day long and spectacular sunsets. All meals at the property must be had out doors! It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. We would rent it again in a heartbeat and will recommend it to family. John & Autumn

We can only agree with the many positive reviews. We had a great time in the beautiful mountain village – it was a special experience. Every morning we had breakfast on the rooftop and enjoyed the tranquility. At first we thought we would miss the sea, but that was not the case at all. We really managed to relax – walks in the area were enough. We actually planned to do more, but we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere so much that we took it easy. Nevertheless, we were traveling by car and made some nice trips, including to the coast, where we discovered great restaurants. A vacation that will stay with us in very good memory. Very nice Airbnb in a great location walkable to the port, perfect for ferry access. Airbnb was spotless, had a nice balcony and very nice lighting features throughout. Host was quickly responsive & friendly! Thanks for a great stay

Giorgio’s place was beautiful and well maintained. He was always very responsive (Ben when we locked ourselves out) and gave us recommendations for the local super market and an AMAZING place for dinner. The home was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view and had everything we needed.

The apartment is fantastic. It is even more beautiful than the pictures and you immediately feel comfortable when you enter it. It is very stylishly decorated and the terrace is really a dream. However, you have to be aware that the complex is located in one of the tourist hotspots on Crete. The advantage is that it is located at the very beginning of the street, so that even on the terrace you do not notice much of all the hustle and bustle. Opposite was a small beach section without sun loungers and parasols which fortunately could be used to spend time on the beach. You don't notice anything on the terrace and have absolute peace to relax. The terrace is built in such a way that it cannot be seen by others. We spent 12 wonderful days there. Eva welcomed us warmly and also provided a few delicacies for the reception. Fruit, bread, cheese and sausage so that you could relax after your arrival. Thank you very much.

Kostas and Maria's Gonies Taverna and Appartments are amongst the best and most special places we have ever stayed, both in Crete and elsewhere in Europe. The situation in the mountains, just below the Lasithi Plateau is idyllic, very quiet with just the sound of mountain goats but also on a good road and in a beautiful garden full of bird sound. Kostas and Maria were wonderful generous hosts, the spacious appartment full of personal touches and breakfast (and supper) in their taverna delicious. We stayed 3 nights and would love to come back

Perfectly located right on the beach, it offered stunning views that were simply breathtaking. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Waking up to the beach front every morning was a truly magical experience. The place is as described on the site. Clean, cosy, quiet and exactly where you need it to be. 5min walk from the central Heraklion lion fountain. We were very happy with everything!!

Tasos is an extremely welcoming host. When we arrived late, we found a generously stocked fridge and freezer. Fruits, jams, rusks and cold and hot drinks were waiting for us. And Tasos was absolutely adorable to make our stay easier. We really appreciate it. Her apartment is very nice , the jacuzzi and the beautiful view make it a rare find. We highly recommend this rental, even more appreciated thanks to the many details Tasos has thought of.

We had an amazing time. Manolis is very helpful and friendly. He gave us some great recommendations of beaches to go to and restaurants. The apartment is in a great location. It has everything you need and is really nicely decorated and very clean. If we end up in Agios Nikolaos again we will definitely stay there again

A lovely modern condo in the heart of Heraklion. Located next to a mini market and delicious bakery, this spot is in a great location. We especially loved the rooftop space!

I‘m more that happy that we decided to stay at Dimitri‘s place. He ish very kind and helped us right away, if we had any questions. The location is peaceful and has a great view. The beach is not far away and the size of the apartment is just perfekt for a single person or a couple. I will definitely visit again.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Kostis was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location was absolutely amazing and close to everything we wanted to see. The place itself was clean, comfortable and had the best view.
