Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Malcantone

A nice set of rooms very close to everything that matters in Varenna. The accommodations were clean and Debora did a wonderful job communicating all information needed for the stay. She is very kind and friendly. The view from the roof is absolutely stunning and deserves some time during your stay with wine and snacks (weather permitting). I would stay again. A couple additional points to share: 1) All rooms are above ground level, so if someone has any mobility concerns, this might be an issue. Furthermore, there are lots of steps everywhere in Varenna. Be prepared to work your glutes. 2) It can be a bit noisy at night, so, if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should grab some ear plugs/buds to help block out noise. The church tower across the street rings all day, including night and early morning.

A lovely place. You will find yourself in an old Italian house, quite atmospheric. Constanza is a very nice lady! We enjoyed our stay, and liked breakfast much. The only thing to consider is that location is on a mountain, and you will have to go up and down a hill even if you have a car. It wasn’t an issue for us, but if you have little kids, or problems with knees you should think twice.

A huge thank you to Yoko, Paulo and their daughter Saori for their wonderful welcome 💛 Gold hosts, really. Their hospitality is an admirable balance between immersion in a Swiss-Japanese family and visitor autonomy. We had some really interesting exchanges filled with enthusiasm and kindness with Yoko, Paulo and Saori. They were very available to give us tips for sightseeing and to help us. The traditional house is very beautiful and the studio made available matches the description, very clean and welcoming. The garden is beautiful, with a terrace under an arbor where we were able to eat the delicious breakfast prepared by Yoko. It would be missing something to go to Morcote without staying with them! We can only recommend that you go to these "super hosts" whose title is more than deserved. We wish them beautiful encounters thanks to their warm and generous welcome.

The Nest on the Lake was the loveliest little lakeside inn! The owners are extremely kind and the access to the little beach was wonderful to have. Ferry boats and bus stops within 12 min walk of the inn, which was great. Two markets close by, a few fantastic restaurants within in walking distance, and the most gorgeous views of Lake Como! We would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Lake Como for the first or 100th time!

This was a great experience! Everything was clean, great location and nice little breakfast. But the best thing was of course meeting Pino! He is a very kind and funny guy, thank you for your kindness and your stories! I will definitely come back.

The house and its garden ( and its POOL) are very nice. Ideal for resting after tours and walks in the area.

Great & convenient place less than 4km to the airport in small village ( no real shops or food available) A light breakfast is provided. They very kindly picked me up & took me to the the airport (for a reasonable fee) we have stayed before and would stay again if flying to or from Milan. Thank you Silvana & Claudio

Even though I was only able to stay for one night at Massimo's place, I had the most wonderful time. Olcio is so beautiful and to experience it while living at Massimo's was such a blessing. Massimo was incredibly friendly and accommodating even for the brief time I was there. Such a funny and kind person. I will definitely be back to Olcio and Massimo's Casa Della Musica!

Good welcome, clean and pleasant room and bathroom. Small downside regarding the railway line: noisy on the 1st night, but fortunately there was no train from the next day June 9 until September because of work on the line. Enjoyable self-catering.

Very nice rooms and very pleasant. The place is quiet and well located. Nives is a good tip for activities , tours, and restaurants. Breakfasts are great. recommended without hesitation.

La Casetta is a very clean apartment and cared for in every detail. It really feels like you're at home. It is very quiet and the rooms are spacious and bright. Francesca is very kind and caring . Breakfast is plentiful and of high quality. I hope to be able to stay at this stylish property again.
