We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

We had a great time! The small cabin is located next to the hosts' property, allowing easy and direct contact. Marie was very hospitable, advised us on nice walks in the area (nature reserve, access to the lake) and even offered us eggs from their chickens. Listing was clean, functional, and as described. Very nice for a few days. Thanks again:)!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

We stayed at Sara‘s place for a couple of nights and enjoyed our time there a lot. The house (and especially the kitchen) is well-equipped and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. There is a canoe that can be carried to the lake, the bikes are a bit rusty, the sauna works well and without problems. Thank you Sara for our time here!

For the third year in a row, I have enjoyed the amazing little cottage by the lake! The host Ulrich received me as kindly and helpfully as usual. Here you can really rest and enjoy the beautiful nature. If you sit on the balcony by the jetty, you are guaranteed to see a variety of birds swimming by and in the forest around there are squirrels and deer that come close. The cottage is incredibly cozy and has everything you might need during your stay. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped and charcoal is available if you want to grill outside instead. The little cottage on Vättersö has become a nice annual tradition for me and I am already looking forward to next year!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

An awesome house for a big group. with more than enough bathrooms, toilets and places to retreat to. A large well equipped kitchen. We could barbeque outdoors with enough outdoor seating. We enjoyed the nature around the island including a lake view and very pretty forest close to the house. What a beautiful and restful setting with perfect weather in the height of spring. It would be lovely to return and experience autumn there as well with the wide range of both deciduous and evergreen trees. Our group enjoyed the bird song, the many deer sightings and other game along with the wild flowers that were blooming. We even saw a moose in the fields. In conclusion, though we were fortunate with perfect temperatures and only occasional rain, in any regard, the home and surroundings were ample and gorgeous! We would highly recommend.

I've stayed here many times before. There's a reason for that :) I feel this is more like a second home for me now. The host will always help you if you have a special need. You get more than a bed, you get a local contact point.

It was a great stay!

I absolutely loved my stay. It was the perfect spot for my short stint in Stockholm. You are very close to many places and it’s stunningly appointed. Staff were fantastic and made me feel right at home!

We spent 3 nights at Axels. I would recommend a visit of 3 nights minimum if you are a tourist trying to explore and understand beautiful Stockholm. This apartment is very spacious and great for a family or 2 couples since it has 2 levels. The bathrooms are large and well laid out. The location is absolutely perfect! High quality restaurants offering diverse cuisine are nearby. If you like to walk, as we do, beautiful parks and impeccably maintained boulevards are found nearby in all directions. Thanks for a great experience!!

We had a wonderful stay at Anna’s house. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The place is incredibly peaceful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. The surrounding area is stunning, with beautiful walks through the forest just around the corner. The house itself is spotless, minimalist, and thoughtfully arranged. Everything was exactly as described. Anna, the host, is truly a ray of sunshine; kind, welcoming, and always helpful. We already can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

I stayed in a very cozy and well-decorated studio in downtown Eskilstuna, located on a charming, old street near the water. The accommodation had a personal and warm atmosphere, with antique details and tasteful design that gave the feeling of stepping into another time, while everything was comfortable and well-maintained. Location was perfect, close to both nature and city amenities. A pleasant place that suits those who appreciate tranquility, culture and aesthetics. Highly recommended

Melvin’s apartment was very spacious and comfortable. It is in a lovely quiet area. It was easy to travel into the city centre using the metro which is just 12 minutes walk away.

I wanted a peaceful place where I could have time to rest, think and relax for a few weeks and that was just what I got in this apartment. Good hiking opportunities right outside the door, easy access to the city center by bus, peaceful surroundings. The apartment is small, but contains everything you need for a longer stay. Maria is a great host. She was always gentle and friendly, responded quickly to any inquiries, and was always on the offer page when I met her or someone from her family out. She even brought me home baked rolls one afternoon. I am happy to recommend Maria's place and will be happy to come back another time.

we were only passing through at Daniel's but everything worked out wonderfully. the bed is large and cozy, the location quiet, but still very close to the city center. The bus runs in front of the door. Communication was easy. Overall, we felt very comfortable

Super cozy house with everything we needed. On the balcony, we grilled and lay in the hammock and listened to the coal tits. Just positive!

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Really nice and modern apartment in a quiet rural neighbourhood. Everything was as described and communication with both the hosts was great. They also have a farm from where you can buy organic honey, eggs, etc. We had a really nice stay and would gladly come back again. Thanks Tommy and Anne!
