Vacation rentals with lake access in Mälaren

Fredrik's place was exactly what we were looking for. It was extremely clean and there was everything you needed. In addition, it was very cozy and we had the fireplace on every day and made ourselves comfortable on the comfortable furniture. The host was always available and was able to give helpful tips for the area and Stockholm. A great experience in winter, but in summer it must also be very nice there.

Wonderful place, deep into nature however close enough to the city center. The view is spectacular, we could also see the northern lights. If you’re searching for peace of mind I strongly recommend it

A peaceful hideaway by the water. We had a truly wonderful extended weekend at Daniel’s house in Sweden. The place is exactly what we were hoping for - beautiful, peaceful, and with a stunning location right by the water. The house itself is stylish, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway, and we instantly felt at home. Every detail in the house reflects care and thoughtfulness - it’s clear this is a place made for guests to feel at ease. Daniel was a fantastic host – warm, responsive and helpful throughout. Communication was smooth and kind from beginning to end, which made everything feel effortless. One small note for future guests: the pier shown in some of the pictures is no longer there. It didn’t take anything away from the experience, but it’s good to know in advance. All in all, we had a fantastic stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Hans and Lena are super nice hosts. Very helpful and available at any time. The house is a dream, a fantastic view of the Streömmakanal from almost every window. The evenings at the jetty with a glass of wine were very nice, but also on the terrace, which belongs to the cottage and which you have all to yourself, it is cozy with a wonderful view. The deer came to dusk. Unfortunately, we waited on moose in vain. The connection to the city is very easy. Bus 433 or 434 goes directly to Slussen in the city or in the other direction to Stavsnäs from where the ferries go to the nearby islands such as Sandhamn. Nearby you can make beautiful hikes. The house is very spacious and bigger than we expected. Very nice bathroom with many storage options. The kitchen has everything you need including toaster. Only the way to the supermarket is a little further. We would come back and highly recommend it.

Pretty elegant and clean house with public transport near by.

We had a short stay associated with a private party nearby and chose this home from outside walking distance to the party. Very nice, fresh and well-functioning accommodation that I am happy to recommend to others and can imagine booking again.

Best stay ever!!! It was incredibly beautiful, so I spontaneously extended it another week. The house is so cute, cozy, perfectly equipped and exceptionally clean! Upon arrival, Robert and Diana showed me the surroundings. The two are so warm and always available on site and by message and incredibly helpful. They give great tips for things to do, restaurants, etc. The lake is really right outside the door, very clean and great for swimming. I could borrow the SUP at any time. The sea is also just 2 minutes away. I will never forget the days there and left with a heavy heart. I've rarely had such a perfect place to stay! THANK YOU!

Staying in Pär's apartment in Stockholm was a very positive experience. We were welcomed by the lower house, who gave us a tour and helped with questions. The apartment was much bigger than we thought, and really cozy. Everything was nice and clean. We were well taken care of with linens, clean towels, tourist brochures, and a bottle of bubbles in the fridge. We felt very welcome! The apartment is very central and within walking distance to the city center. There was peace and quiet on the street. Restaurant Lille Capri on the ground floor was a lovely place where we ate 3 times. Here we got great service! Everything in the apartment was in the best order, and Pär was quick to respond if we had any questions along the way. Thank you so much Pär for hosting - we would highly recommend this home to others.

Very calm and quiet place, around nature, no noise, suitable to rest. Inside, it was cozy like with the grandparents in the summer house, it was warm.

I stayed here for several weeks, loved everything about the place. The bus stops right in front of the building, and makes travel to and from the downtown core very convenient and quick. The neighbourhood is incredibly safe no matter what time of day (or night), the apartment is quiet and, though small, has a lovely spacious feel. The view is fantastic! The kitchen is very well equipped with modern and highend appliances. I really appreciated the excellent water pressure in the rain shower. The walking path between the street and the water was lovely, even during the winter when I visited. I even found the bed to be extremely comfortable, and that is saying a lot since I sleep on a Tempurpedic at home and have a bad back. Benjamin was a great host. I would definitely return, and think this is a jewel of a place to stay!

beautiful location. it's exactly as it looks and our 8 year old loved the raft ferry to the island. we loved the sauna and the views. Alexander was very kind and responsive.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

On our way back home, we stayed with Malin for 1 night. It was the perfect place for our stopover. Immediately behind the house is a beautiful hiking area where we could walk with our dog. The cottage is comfortable, cozy and has everything you need. Thank you Malin for the warm welcome!

The accommodation is very cozy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. We felt right at home. There is definitely everything you need and also for children there are plenty of toys available. The garden is large and fenced. Here, even smaller children can just be free and play without having to worry. However, you should check for ticks daily. Please be sure to pack a pair of tweezers. The surroundings are beautiful, picturesque and quiet. There are many hiking trails and also the sea is within easy walking distance. There is also a lot to offer here for the angler. Either roam from the in-house rowing boat in the archipelago, or buy a license at the Muskan/Fjättern. Catch guarantee! Emelie is quick to respond to questions and is very accommodating. A broken bike was repaired in the yard the next day! Thank you! One evening we could even watch the northern lights, we will never forget it!😍

The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, and it was just right for our group of five. Everything was clean and nicely arranged. We had such a lovely time over new years here! very responsive and impeccable hospitality. The cottage provided beautiful views of the lake, even in the snow the nearest town Sigtuna is walkable through the forrest paths only took 30 mins! I definitely recommend this little slice of paradise 🤍
