The historic center of Enkhuizen is about 5 km away, as well as the indoor swimming pool, recreational beach, sailing surf school, Fairy Tale Wonderland, the Zuiderzee Museum, Het Streekbos/Klimpark and the cozy shopping street with many restaurants.

The Amstelmeer (swimming and surfing) is a 10-minute walk; the North Sea beach (Den Helder, Callantsoog) is 17 km away. The boat to Texel 15 km. Picturesque towns such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen or Schagen are within a 30-minute drive.

Waking up in the morning with the panoramic view over the Linde valley, perhaps Bregje and Berdien will walk past our gentle sheep! The chalet has a beautiful location where space and tranquility come together. It is a perfect base for walks in one of the park forests of Oldeberkoop or a nice bike ride to Appelscha, for example. In the evening, with a little luck, you can see the deer appear at dusk!
