The house was built in the last century as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the noisy city and today serves exactly this purpose again. The new cast iron stove, which takes over the heating of the house with logs, fits the character of the house. Without the stove, the cottage remains cold at corresponding outside temperatures!

In Altlay, about 1.5 km away, there is a restaurant. Our vacation home is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows right by the house. The picturesque, 200-year-old quarry stone building was renovated in 2022 and has a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating and an open fireplace.

We had a fantastic stay at Heidi’s place! She met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the house, and made sure we had everything we needed. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made us feel right at home. The house itself was cozy, comfortable, and spotless, with all the amenities we could ask for. The location was perfect—convenient to everything while still feeling like a relaxing retreat. We have enjoyed every moment in this apartment. First of all - fantastic absolutely central location! Very close to boardwalk, surrounded by restaurants, coffeeshops. Minutes walk to supermarket, pharmacies, Rossmann, doctor's office (I got cold and doctor was only minutes walk from the apartment). Apartment itself very spacious, very nice bedroom with probably pretty much new queen/double bed. I have sensitive back and have to say - I was waking up with no pain! Sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels were very clean and good large size. Kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need. Lovely couch, good quality TV. Marion is such a nice person! whenever we needed anything - we was receiving the answers in a matter of minutes. To conclusion: Highly recommend! Hopefully we meet again 🥰

Monica has been very friendly and always easy to reach. The house is huge and was perfectly equipped for our needs. We were on site with 3 families with small children and a dog and had a very good time. The playroom was the absolute paradise for the kids. We took 2 walks to the neighboring villages and stopped there. The possibilities here are somewhat limited. If you leave by car, there is a lot more to do. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend.

We stayed with Claudia for a game weekend and felt completely comfortable: large tables in the kitchen, living room and upstairs on the 2nd floor give enough space for parallel play rounds, in the beautiful yard we could also sit together wonderfully in large groups and enjoy the ambiance of the surrounding houses; the beds were comfortable and wide enough that they could also be shared well by non-pairs; the kitchen offers everything you need; there are also plenty of toilets and shower facilities for a larger troupe - all quite wonderful!
