Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Maintenon

Staying in the chapel is an extraordinary, wonderful experience. This chapel has been completely renovated by Iris, with incredible talent. If I had to remember a few elements, it would be the feeling of space, the inverted boat hull frame, the stained glass window adjoining the bedroom, the papier-mâché jars, the garden at the back, etc. It's a perfect place to meet, in a village where life is good. Iris is a caring and learned host, who will tell you the whole story of the place. Looking forward to coming back!

Two days in May 2025 We had a very nice stay at Gilles' house. It is well equipped and everything you need is available. In the beautifully landscaped garden you can relax wonderfully, at night it is absolutely quiet. The location is ideal within walking distance in about 30 minutes to the Cathedral of Chartres. Communication with Gilles was absolutely unproblematic, quick and pleasant. If you want to visit Chartres, you are well accommodated at Gilles. We enjoyed it very much! Short stay (just one night) but the accommodation is welcoming and warm, located in a very beautiful environment. Well-equipped. The environment is very quiet and peaceful. The instructions left by Pauline are clear and the self check-in was very convenient for us! I would highly recommend it!

The interior of the apartment is done well. Lovely fire which we made use of. The grounds are not so nice. Cheap garden furniture and the exterior needs a good jet washing. The neighbor has a camera on their wall which looks into the grounds of the property, this did not make it feel private. There is no access to the ground beyond the fence, which is shame as it looks like the main property backs on to a forest. We drone to a near by forest for a nice hike. There is a Lidil near by and many things in driving distance. It's a great place to stay and would suit a couple and a family. The exterior could be improved and a camera overlooking is not very welcoming.

We spent our stay as part of a bachelor party with friends. Cindy was very accommodating. The house is really great, we had a great time! I highly recommend it, without so much as a second thought! So, a big thank you on behalf of the 8 guys Cindy hosted! José

Very well located apartment, close to shops, various services and cultural places. We did everything on foot. In addition, the accommodation is quiet, pleasant and very functional. We highly recommend it for a short stay in Chartres for two or three.

Geneviève's beautiful apartment was the perfect place for my extended stay. The very central location made walking anywhere in Chartres very easy and it is in a lovely part of town. The place itself is well equipped with everything one would need for an extended stay, including a nicely arranged kitchen and a washing machine. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment and is very comfortable and quiet. The living area is spacious with good lighting and spaces for dining, relaxing, and working. Geneviève was incredibly responsive and kind and made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this beautiful place and wonderful host!
