Die Tische im Hof laden im Sommer zum Entspannen oder zu einem idylischen Frühstück im Grünen ein. Für die Kleinen gibt es einen Sandkasten. Our place is close to beautiful meadows and hills, ideal for relaxing, hiking, going offline.... You'll love our Lydi-Hütt' because of the location, because of the little something extra, and the surroundings of our beautiful Vogelsberg. My place is good for couples, solo travelers, families (with kids), and dogs. The renovated half-timbered house is located in the hamlet of Schmitten. A hamlet is a very small residential development with approx. 10 houses. Pure idyll.

The old coin

The house is over 500 years old, was completely newly renovated in 1994 sustainably and with style-appropriate materials yet also modern. It is a closed courtyard surrounded by old stone walls and lots of plants, great for children and animals. You will occupy part of the house and use it for yourself alone. Living-dining area and kitchen are located on the first floor. As well as the bathroom with toilet and shower. On the 2nd floor you can use 2 cozy bedrooms. (Bed each 160 x 200 cm) On the 2nd floor is another bed (180 x 200 cm) The bus stop is just a 1-minute walk away and Frankfurt is about 30-40 minutes away. Parking is available at the house.

Charming half-timbered house on the Altenstadt golf course

In 2018, we lovingly renovated and modernized the guest house, an old half-timbered house on our farm. In the countryside and only 30 km from Frankfurt, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature. For golf lovers, it is only 100 meters to the course, where the Ristorante Bella Vista with Italian cuisine is also waiting for you. There are also dishes, such as pizza, to go.
