Where do I begin about how halcyon the environment and charming the interior of this cottage? We stayed during the course of a thorough storm and some lovely sunny days, and between the lush nature surrounding the cottage, the top notch kitchen, and cozy beds, our family of four felt so incredibly relaxed. Anna was a responsive host and we can’t wait to return to this family cottage someday. We loved teaching our kids about records and cd players, (since at home it’s all over WiFi), using the high quality kitchenware, and appreciating the eclectic art and decor.

Lovely, peaceful two day retreat in park- like surroundings. Well- sheltered from Cyclone Tam easterlies. Prívate, yet close to Snell’s beach and Matakana’s amenities as well as local beaches. Fresh eggs from pet chickens and home- made marmalade. Thank you.

I accidentally chose this lovely, quiet and clean folk house. The owner is very nice. I renewed the lease twice in a row. If you enjoy quietness and mountain views, it is a very good choice. It is close to the beautiful Wainui Golf Course. Although it is a little far from the city center, I really like the quietness. I will come back to live here.
