There is room for everyone around the long table, and in the living rooms for a piano lesson or relax with a good book in front of the fireplace. The apartment is located in the middle of Egersund city center and thus it is within walking distance to all city amenities. The house where the apartment is located is from about 1860. It was originally a factory called Damsgård pottery where faience (pottery) was produced. At the height of the factory, 20 people worked in the building.

With only a few meters to the fjord, you almost get the experience of sleeping in the water. All amenities are available either in the tiny house or in the basement of the Dirdalstraen Farm Shop nearby. In 2023, the farm shop was named Norway's best farm shop and is a small attraction in itself. Right next door you will find a sauna that can be booked with an equally good view.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

The apartment is located at the end of our residential house with its own entrance and with access to both garden and sun corner. Our goats graze on the field right next door and are fond of both cuddles and a little bread😊 We ask that our tenants leave the apartment in the same condition as when you received it, cleaned and ready for new guests.
