Family-friendly vacation rentals in Maggie Valley

Everything was wonderful! It’s was a peaceful weekend getaway that we were looking for. Parking is a little tight if you have a bigger vehicle, and the shower is small. Overall would be back!

We loved our stay at Greg’s cabin! The location is beautiful and the cabin was very clean and comfortable, it looked just like the pictures. There is a nice stream right next to the cabin and we enjoyed the fire pit and the hot tub. It was also only about a 10 minute drive to the casino, which was very convenient for the event we were attending. We would definitely stay here again!

Great small cabin for a nice getaway. My wife and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and enjoyed it!

It is such a beautiful home and very secluded. We had an amazing week staying there and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. The home had a great sound system and hot tub which really put it over the top. The no WiFi made you really disconnect from everything and enjoy the views. Overall a great place to just relax and enjoy nature.

This was a last minute trip for us - just wanted to get out of town and relax! Hot tub was the highlight - it was pristine! Area and house itself was very cute - could hear the small creek from the deck. It was exactly what we needed for a get away! Would return again.

First and foremost, Sergio is a great host. All of the information sent prior to our stay was great to have. He was very responsive to every message sent. The directions to the house were accurate and entry was seamless. The house is cozy and warm with everything you may need. We used all of the amenities; games, tv, hot tub, sauna, ping pong table- there really was no reason to leave the house. The weather wasn't great but we still made to it Cataloochee to ski, and having the hot tub to come back to was perfect!!! The view from the back porch was ever changing and always gorgeous. It was a wonderful way to bring our family together for a long weekend.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, up to date and the view was great! We even had multiple sightings of a mama bear and her two cubs! I stayed with my husband, two teenage daughters and our dog and we had plenty of room! The hot tub was a little small for the four of us but it felt amazing after the long days of hiking. The cabin is close to downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. Randy was very responsive and got back to me quickly with any questions I had before or during our stay. Being from the Midwest, we were a little taken aback by the steep, curving roads we had to travel to and from the cabin. Having said that, the cabin was wonderful and I would not hesitate to stay at another Shope’s property!

A Frame of Mind was a great place to stay! My group enjoyed the location in the mountains and great amenities. The home was exactly what we were looking for on our trip!

Owen was very thoughtful and very accommodating. The place is right next to the forest and very quiet. The kitchen was fully equipped and had basic condiments already, which made easy for us to cook there. Surely we will stay agin in the future when i visit this area.

This home was perfect for our family of 3 teens and 3 adults. It was spacious and clean, we wanted for nothing. All this with a very accommodating, understanding and hospitable owners, who let us stay even after Helene's destruction to their bridge. Thank you for the wonderful stay this Thanksgiving 2024.

Really nice place in a great location. New and spotless inside, nice decor, comfy beds & sofa, great dining table, and love the bike shed. Perfect for our family of 4. We'll be back.

We had such a great stay. The drive up was challenging, but well worth it for the beautiful sunrise each day! The condo was comfortable and extremely clean. Smokies Time were very responsive and gave great tips to help us settle in. They were very accommodating and easy to work with.

We never got to stay at Lara’s place due to the hurricane and not being able to get there but I seriously can’t rate a host higher. Lara was compassionate and so so helpful. It is hard to come by true, genuine people like this and I can’t recommend their place higher! Thank you for everything, we will never forget your kindness.

An absolutely stunning place to stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to Ashley’s place if we ever come back to Bryson City. Walkable into town but very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Lots of thoughtful touches to make it feel like home (which was nice after several weeks on the road in our travels). The work they have done to restore this historic cottage did not go unnoticed. Absolutely book here if you can. Thanks Ashley!!

Eagles Nest was absolutely fantastic! We loved sitting on the porch and listening to the birds singing and the sounds of the creek. The house was absolutely impeccably clean and was of lovely decor. Plus, the kitchen was extremely well equipped. It was a wonderful, peaceful getaway, and we would highly recommend it! We enjoyed hiking the waterfalls and enjoying the gorgeous area. Absolutely stunning place to stay and the waterfall topped the property off!!! Had a tree fall during a wind storm while we were staying so I contacted Glenn and he literally had it all cut up and out of the way of the driveway in less than an hour from the time I messaged him. Way to go Glenn!!!!!!! Thank you again for a flawlessly amazing stay!!!!

Belinda and Ben were great host! The home met our needs as we were waiting to close on our home. The space worked well for my husband who was working remotely and also for the visiting grand kids. The home is simple bbut had everything we needed.

This is a great larger house to host a larger family. It has great amenities that make it cozy and entertaining for all ages.

Brenda’s place was perfect for our family. The caboose was an added bonus as we brought our grandson to the polar express for the first time. The location was wonderful- we walked to town which was so convenient. Bryson City looks like a little Hallmark movie set. The rental was clean and even had some snacks and water. So helpful. This was an amazing trip with memories made with our little family. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin, photos don’t due it justice. Everything we could need was there although pull out couches wouldn’t worked better for our older children than having the extra beds located in the master bedrooms. Otherwise it was a perfect house to entertain our large family! I wish I would’ve done more research on the area prior to coming. It’s definitely a lot of driving. I highly recommend bringing hiking gear. We came in January, I wasn’t sure how the weather would be but it was actually perfect hiking weather. All the entertainment at the house was fantastic as well for our kids.

Syresa and Lonnie were fantastic hosts!! Made check in easy and the rental was exactly as described . Syresa checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything as well as making sure just as an overall everything was going well. Perfect place for my brothers bachelor weekend. I would definitely be interested in staying with Syresa and Lonnie again in the future.
