Treetop Retreat

RachelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a wonderful stay at Kelly's place! The home was very clean and had a great deal of kitchen amenities which was really helpful for cooking. The outside front of the home needs some work on curb appeal, but the inside is fantastic. Great views and gorgeous location! Pre-check in instructions were very clear and helpful!

Vacation Home Near Wedding Venues & Sunset Hikes

OliviaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a great stay. The house is in a lovely historic neighborhood, easily walkable to downtown Culpeper which has restaurants, a movie theatre, shops, and a nice park with a playground. We took the train from DC and stayed for a couple of days without a car. The host was super responsive, flexible, and put out a nice continental breakfast each day with plenty of coffee and tea. There was lots of room to spread out both inside and outside. As the listing says it's dog friendly, so if you have allergies consider bringing your medicine with you. All in all a great place and we'd stay again.

Nancy’s place is a gem, and so is she. From local recommendations to friendly chats, she is a terrific AirBnB host. This is the place to stay if you’re coming into town for a concert at Ting Pavilion or want to be close to downtown.

Wakefield Ct | Private Parking spots | Fast WiFi

JennieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was a great house in a cute neighborhood which was just a short drive away to downtown Charlottesville and UVA. Our family of 6 had plenty of room to spread out and we especially loved the sunroom to hang out in. Central AC was especially appreciated on the hot summer days! If you plan to do a lot of cooking you might want to bring your own sharp knife but otherwise we had everything we needed. The fridge was stocked with all sorts of goodies as well which was an added bonus!

Lisa gave great recommendations. We enjoyed great wine tasting and the Skyline Caverns. The next day we did the Skyline drive and the Filibuster distillery. Woodstock is very walkable. Cute downtown and very good restaurants. We will definitely go back Thank you Lisa for a great time.

Rosemary's Nest LLC

EdwardRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

Irene is amazing and so is her home on Lake Anna! Great space with privacy and access to lake and amenities. Irene went above and beyond - even coming to pick us up from dinner when our Uber cancelled on us. Such a great experience and highly recommended staying here!

2 bedroom Condo in UVA and JPJ area

AdamRating, 5 stars25 months ago
For a visit to UVA (for orientation, graduation, or ...), Penny's place is a great match (if you are walkers like my family). 1. Extremely peaceful, looking out at trees w/birds chirping away w/o a hint of road noise. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the terrace. 2. Convenient ... <10 minutes walk to a big shopping center and <30 minutes to center of UVA campus. 3. You're visiting someone's home (fully equipped kitchen, lots of plants due to Penny's evident green thumb) w/many thoughtful items to make the stay easier/more enjoyable (fruit, coffee/tea, snacks, breakfast foods, lots (LOTS) of towels, etc ...) Penny, in communication, undersold her home -- yes, it is an older (not renovated) place (not the Ritz Carlton) -- but it made for a very comfortable base for graduation weekend events. NOTE: Be aware that there is no WiFi.

come and stay at bird song hill

PaigeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We really enjoyed staying here for a birthday weekend. The place was quiet and very clean with good AC. We enjoyed relaxing mornings drinking coffee on the porch. The location is great- a 35 min drive to hiking at White Oak Canyon and a 15 min drive into town. The property is pet-friendly and there are plenty of places to walk a dog. There is a dog that lives in the house on site who may bark occasionally, but he stayed inside and was no bother at all. Yvette was there to greet us for check in and check out. She was friendly and responsive and we appreciated the extra touches like snacks and wine. We’d stay again!

Two Bedroom Two Bathroom Massanutten Resort Stay

MoniqueRating, 5 stars26 months ago
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Massanutten. The surroundings were nice and clean. The condo we rented from Brenda was spacious, clean and felt like home. We had a 2 bedroom/2bath condo with fireplace, LVP flooring, sectional sofa and balcony with a great views of the mountains and golf course. Everything we need to make meals was available in the condo and grocery stores were just a 10 min drive away. We purchased tickets for the water park and adventure park which had lots to do. We will definitely plan to go back again during the summer months.

Fabulous Terrace Level Apartment In City

NatalieRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great two night stay at Lisa's place! 5 minute drive to the downtown mall area, you definitely could do the 30ish minute walk but it was 95 degrees so we opted to drive. Thankfully the apartment had AC and was cool and comfortable. Lisa was very friendly and responsive and the place itself had everything we needed and more. Recommended for anyone visiting the Charlottesville area!

Hollymead House Bed & Breakfast Room #4

JohnRating, 5 stars39 months ago
Truly an amazing little Inn. The rooms are so clean and the beds are so comfortable. The owners are lovely, down to earth, kind caring people. They make the stay so enjoyable and we can not wait to return. If you want to get away from the stress of life and enjoy the slower lifestyle of the 1800’s you need to stay here at the Hollymead House Inn.

We had a peaceful stay. Lisa and Scott go out of their way to accommodate. There are a lot of hikers coming through and all kinds of accommodations for hikers. A real blessing for people looking to pause on their journey.

This AirBNB is perfect for a peaceful stop on a long road trip! We got a wonderful, tasty dinner and then sat outside to watch a beautiful sunset with the sheep and dogs. Lots of games and activities for when it got dark (love a good Jenga match!) . Great for stargazing as well! The bed was so comfortable and everything felt very clean. Great shower too! Thank you for making our first stay in Shenandoah a great one!

Bed & Breakfast Luray Riverfront

NicoRating, 5 stars14 months ago
This was our second stay with Linda and Putter and we expect more in the future! Highlights for us are the incredible breakfasts, the big bathtub, and the exceptional warmth and hospitality of our hosts. They went the extra mile to make our trip special and we really appreciated it. Everything was comfortable and clean and we had a great view of the stars at night from the balcony. As far as location goes, it's about 30 minutes to an hour to most of the popular hiking destinations on Skyline Drive. We also liked Shenandoah River State Park for a change of pace during peak bluebell season. Linda's food really is the best we've had in the area but we enjoyed West Main Market's sandwiches and beer garden after day on the trails.

Blue room with queen bed-Walk to Downtown

DeniseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were the only ones there on our night, had the whole place to ourselves so it was quiet. We were prepared to share bathroom and kitchen! Living room and kitchen table area have enough room if people want to hang out and visit, a real “ hostel” feel. Raven gave a great, informative introduction to the house and rules. We really appreciated the breakfast supplies, egg, bread, peanut butter , jam, fruit, coffees and teas.
