We loved using the pool and the patio/grill area. The view and the landscaping are beautiful. The owner was helpful and responsive; she supplied firewood and charcoal. Plenty of dining space both indoors and out. Good A/C.

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

Such a lovely gem of a home! It was the perfect size for our large group of friends, and full of activities. Everything was in pristine shape, and the private dock is somehow even easier to access than I expected — just a single set of steps down, and you pass the cute and secluded fire pit along the way. Other highlights include the (multiple!!) basketball hoop arcade setups, and the movie theater room is just as good as the photos convey. The front yard is huge, too, perfect for organized outdoor games like football and kickball. The only minus I have is super trivial: the TVs in the home all had HDMIs but we couldn’t locate AV/S-Video ports, so there was no way to hook up the Wii we’d brought (for additional games like Mario Kart). Big thanks to Daniel for a 5-star stay. We’re already chewing on returning to this exact spot.

This was the perfect peaceful retreat. No other people around and gorgeous views. House did not disappoint. The outdoor firepit was a great way to cap a day of hiking and exploring. Plenty of room for multiple families.

Perfect place for a family getaway! The open floor plan was great for our group of 8 - we never felt crowded. The kitchen had everything and more than we needed while cooking each day of our stay. We also appreciated the gas grill. Linens were nice and the beds were super comfortable. What we enjoyed the most was the property! We stayed outdoors most of the day. The kids 11, 8 and 1.5 enjoyed the play area and we used the huge yard as our ball field. We also enjoyed the walking trail through the woods at the back of the property. One of the best stays we’ve had!

My family and I had a great stay at Monique and Stan’s place. They were so friendly and helpful and the house had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable and plenty of space to spread out. The location was beautiful and my kids loved meeting their horses. We would love to go back when the pool is open. Thanks again!

A cottage in the heart of the valley! Very beautiful and quiet. Absolutely had the Appalachian folklore vibe at night! Don’t got outside when the sun goes down 👻 Well worth the price, the privacy and views are SPECTACULAR! And not far from Luray Caverns/museums and Main Street shops. We will be recommending this cottage to friends and family. Thank you Ruth for such a beautiful place to get away for the weekend!

Absolutely perfect space for our friend group of five. Cannot beat this location and the amenities/activities both from Graves and the area. Hoping to return soon, say hi to the ducks for us!

Beautiful Victorian-style house with plenty of space inside to relax. There are cool objects/decorations/books everywhere you look! This airbnb was well-stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. The backyard and the front porch were picturesque and nice to relax. The location was unbeatable as it was very close to the Shenandoah national park entrance. Would absolutely return! 6 of us stayed — three couples — and we spent a night playing boardgames and enjoying the outdoors.

This Airbnb far exceeded our expectations! The listing simply doesn't do it justice—it’s even better in person. The space was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and unwind. Nestled in the Shenandoah Mountains, the location is remote but offers a serene atmosphere with a babbling brook that truly allowed us to disconnect and recharge. We were so impressed with every detail and felt right at home. We're already planning to come back next year—this place is an absolute gem!

A very pretty house to spend a few days in. It was extremely well stocked. The kitchen had every sort of appliance, plate, and tool you might need. The foosball and ping-pong table were fun and board games were plentiful. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The driveway, as described, was indeed steep. With any ice or snow, you do need a four-wheel-drive vehicle. It was clear weather during our stay and we were fine in our sedan.

We love Orange and visit frequently. This home is one of the best we’ve stayed at. The house is full of charm and feels like Virginia. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. There was lots of room for our family chat and play games. The house was very clean and organized. The beds were so comfortable. The location is peaceful and quiet all day and night. I would 100% recommend this home and I hope to stay here again.

We had a great time at Shenandoah it very safe. We checked in around 11:30 pm and they responded our questions. The shopping center is 7.8 miles away from the house it’s about 15 minutes drive. I had so much fun and I will definitely book it again.
