Cottage vacation rentals in Machar

My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

Sarah’s place was amazing. Sarah was extremely flexible with us and had very clear instructions on how to operate amenities in her space. Check in was super quick and easy and her space was beautiful. We will for sure be back in the summer months so we can enjoy the rest of the property. Thank you sarah

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakeside cottage! The scenery is absolutely stunning, and the space is spacious and well-equipped with great amenities. The host was very responsive and helpful, even when we had a minor issue with the hot tub—it was quickly addressed. The only small downside was that the kitchen cookware could use an update, as some of the pots and pans were a bit rusty. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We had a great stay at Maleka and Farhan’s home. The location is a quick drive to Huntsville and Arrowhead Provincial Park. We found the home and the hot tub comfortable and relaxing.

We had a very relaxing getaway in this beautiful cottage. With 4 adults and 5 children, there was plenty of space for us all. Bethany’s recommendations made our outdoor adventures easy to navigate and plan. We’ll definitely be returning to enjoy this space in the summer!

The lazy lakehouse was exactly what my friends and I were looking for, with the sauna and hot tub it was the perfect combination for relaxation in the winter. The cottage was a perfect size for our getaway. Leigh, the host was awesome, very responsive and helpful for anything we needed, and was also proactive in giving us all the information we needed ahead of time.

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

My family and I had an absolutely relaxing stay at Vanessa’s cabin ! From the moment I booked, the communication was so seamless. Vanessa was incredibly friendly and very accommodating especially during the beginning of our trip when we first checked in. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The location of the cabin was absolutely stunning; the view of the frozen lake made waking up in the morning feel very magical (especially with all the snow fall we received those days). I also appreciated the thoughtful touches Vanessa added to our trip such as having firewood ready for us to use and shovelling the pathway from the driveway to the cabin. I felt so at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to definitely come back! Thanks again, Vanessa, for making my trip so memorable!

We had an amazing stay at Amanda’s place! The property was spotless when we arrived, and the peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway. We enjoyed a fantastic BBQ, a cozy bonfire, and boating on the beautiful lake. Amanda was a wonderful host, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Hilltop Hideway is extremely comfortable recreational facility which can satisfy everyone. This cottage is very well equipped, with a lot of space to relax. The facility is very modern with most updated amenities. It is tremendous location, close to Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks and with the short distance to Huntsville. The host Igor was responding to any inquiries friendly and on time. We can strongly recommend this facility for those looking for: relax, outdoor activity and those wanted to explore all attractions listed in the cottage leaflet. Me and my friends had a great experience at the Long House, the pictures do not do it enough justice, it is beautiful. Everything was close proximity to the cottage and the hosts were very kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Would love to come here again
