The cabin is reached via a path of about 1 km with 150 meters of elevation gain. The path is steep and takes 15–30 minutes. Light luggage is recommended. Best suited for 2 people, but has sleeping accommodations for 4. The cabin has electricity, piped water from a nearby stream and a toilet. There is no shower. Velkommen til vår flotte hytte! Hytten ble bygget sommeren 2022 og ligger i et fantastisk fjellområde et lite stykke ovenfor Vøringsfoss, ved foten av Hardangervidda nasjonalpark. Hytten disponerer to parkeringsplasser på privat parkeringsplass tilhørende Åstestølen hyttefelt. Det er kommunal vei helt til parkeringsplassen og en kort gåtur til hytten, på grussti. Det er et meget rolig og etablert hytteområde med hyggelige naboer. Kort vei til nærbutikk på Maurset, alpinanlegg og merkede stier

Side by side with the apple trees in an old, organic orchard – the oldest part on our farm, «Fretheim Gard» – you'll find it: Beautifully situated by the fjord in Flåm, only a short walk from the center of Flåm and station area. The cabin is architect-designed by Stiv Kuling and was completed in 2023. It's built entirely of Norwegian pine. "Drengstovo" with a lovely view in Hardanger

Drengstova", an apartment that is located in the barn with a private balkong facing the fjord, Sørfjorden. At the dock it’s nice to take a bath, fish or just enjoy the view. Fogefonna sommerskisenter is one houer by car from us. There are many fine hiking in the surrounding area. The most famous are Trolltunga, Oksen and the waterfalls in Husedalen,Kinsarvik. It's nice to cycle along the fjord into Agatunet or against Utne with Utne hotel, and Hardanger Folkemuseeum .
