If paradise exists, it must look like Linn's house ❤️... We had a wonderful week. The house is very warm and cozy! It is perfectly equipped. We were lucky enough to observe the Northern Lights twice from the garden. The area is quiet and perfect for walks. The jacuzzi was great for relaxing our legs after ski touring. Thank you for your hospitality. We are already dreaming of coming back!

Immer wieder ein Highlight :-) Wir waren schon zum dritten mal dort und freuen uns immer wieder auf den Urlaub. Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage. Perfekt für Skitouren in der Umgebung. Kristin, der Kontakt vor Ort, ist sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen wieder!

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Idyllic cabin in the Lyngen Alps

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

This cabin is outstanding, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful 6 days here while ski touring in the Lyngen Alps. The cabin is really well located and it was a total luxury to come back and have a hot tub and sauna to ease the tired legs. It is beautifully furnished, very cosy and the kitchen has all you need to cater for yourself. It was really useful to have use of the washer & dryer as well. Jorgen & Nina are great hosts, they provided lots of information before arrival and answered any queries instantly. We loved it and will definitely be back.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette magnifique maison au bord du fjord. Tout était parfait : la literie super moelleuse, la maison tres accueillante et très propre, la baie vitrée donnant directement sur le fjord....nous avons même eu droit à une magnifique aurore boréale directement sur la terrasse!! Tommy est un hôte extrêmement accueillant (merci encore pour le délicieux poisson !), très réactif et soucieux en permanence de notre bien être. Nous vous conseillons cette maison à 100% merci tommy!!

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

Alles hat super gepasst, angefangen von der Schlüsselübergabe mittels der Box neben der Haustür, das vorgeheizte Haus, die PERFEKT ausgestattete Küche (inkl. Gewürzen und allem was man braucht!) - wir waren 6 Personen, sogar 1 Nacht zu 7. und man hat super platz. Sehr gemütliche Couch, Skischuh Trockner, Abstellraum, Sauna, gemütliche Terasse wo man sehr lange die Sonne genießen kann. Die Lage war obendrein echt perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für einige Skitouren und auch super viele Skitouren waren nur ein paar Minuten entfernt. Wir würden die Hütte immer wieder buchen!

Wir haben zu zweit eine super Skitouren-Woche in dieser gemütlichen und praktischen Unterkunft verbracht. Sie bietet genug Platz und Freiraum auch für einen Schlechtwettertag, ist top ausgestattet und sehr angenehm. Am nördlichen Ende der Lyngen-Alpen gelegen, ist die Umgebung ruhig, aber es gibt einen Supermarkt und tolles Tourengelände (wenige Minuten per Auto). Das Haus liegt etwas näher an der Strasse und an anderen Häusern als wir gedacht hätten, aber es gibt sehr wenig Verkehr (Sackgasse) und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig, sodass dies überhaupt kein Problem war. Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich gut, es gibt schnelles Internet und die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir sind sehr dankbar, hier eine schöne Woche verbracht zu haben, können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden uns freuen, wieder einmal herzukommen.

My friend and I have chased the aurora around various parts of Northern Norway for photography five different years and stayed in many Airbnb's while doing so. I'd say Hallgeir's beautiful and spacious place is right up there in quality. The place was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is wonderfully positioned for daytime and aurora photography, with North Northeast to Southern exposure and some unique compositions right on the property. Save for one bright light NNW towards a mountain, you have a large view area to see the aurora. I bet the summer and fall hiking is spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Appartement in Lyngseidet. Es war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere Skitouren – ruhig gelegen, aber gleichzeitig in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem Restaurant und mehreren Supermärkten. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns das gemütliche Wohnzimmer, in dem wir nach den Touren wunderbar entspannen konnten. Im Winter kann man hier auch direkt vom Haus aus Nordlichter sehen. Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft, die wir gerne weiterempfehlen!

Anders and Kari Anne’s place has everything you need for a perfect stay. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The house is beautifully designed, super comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Every little detail has been considered to make guests feel welcome and carefree — from laundry and dishwasher detergent to dry birch wood for the stove, and a well-stocked kitchen with spices, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and more. If you need to restock, the supermarket is just down the road. It’s the ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday with friends.

Die Unterkunft von Ann-Tov war sauber und sehr wohnlich, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Ausreichend sitzmöglichkeiten, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, es war ein obstkorb für uns da. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für skitouren und wir haben von der Couch aus Wale beobachtet!
