Cabin with mountains and sea-view.

This cabin is outstanding, everything was perfect. We had a wonderful 6 days here while ski touring in the Lyngen Alps. The cabin is really well located and it was a total luxury to come back and have a hot tub and sauna to ease the tired legs. It is beautifully furnished, very cosy and the kitchen has all you need to cater for yourself. It was really useful to have use of the washer & dryer as well. Jorgen & Nina are great hosts, they provided lots of information before arrival and answered any queries instantly. We loved it and will definitely be back.

If paradise exists, it must look like Linn's house ❤️... We had a wonderful week. The house is very warm and cozy! It is perfectly equipped. We were lucky enough to observe the Northern Lights twice from the garden. The area is quiet and perfect for walks. The jacuzzi was great for relaxing our legs after ski touring. Thank you for your hospitality. We are already dreaming of coming back!

We were very happy at Bente's place. Bente was there to greet us when we arrived (at the time of our choosing after the check-in time), and explained everything. There was also a really good book explaining things but we then only needed to use that as a reference as Bente had already explained it all. Bente has also been very easy to communicate with electronically - very responsive and proactive. The cabin has a very private setting on a beautiful shoreline, and has plenty of windows to let in the light and lovely views (exactly as per the pictures on Airbnb). The cabin was very well kitted out - it had everything needed; for example, the kitchen was really great. We were also very grateful for the use of the snowshoes, and the children loved the sledges and Bente pointed out a great hill beside the house to use these on. We'd definitely hope to return if / when we return to the area.

Idyllic cabin in the Lyngen Alps

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

The two of us spent a great ski touring week in this cozy and practical accommodation. It offers enough space and freedom even for a bad weather day, is well equipped and very pleasant. Located at the northern end of the Lyngen Alps, the surroundings are quiet, but there is a supermarket and great touring area (a few minutes by car). The house is a little closer to the street and other houses than we thought, but there is very little traffic (dead end) and the surrounding area is very quiet, so this was no problem at all. The kitchen equipment was really good, there is fast Internet and the communication with the hosts was extremely friendly and helpful. We are very grateful to have spent a nice week here, can highly recommend the accommodation and would love to come back again.

We had a great week at this beautiful fjord-side home. Everything was perfect: the super soft bedding, the house very welcoming and very clean, the bay window directly overlooking the fjord... we even had a magnificent northern lights directly on the terrace!! Tommy is an extremely welcoming host (thanks again for the delicious fish!), very responsive and always concerned about our well-being. We recommend this house 100% thank you Tommy!!

Everything was a great fit, starting with the key handover using the box next to the front door, the preheated house, the PERFECTLY equipped kitchen (incl. Spices and everything you need!) - we were 6 people, even 1 night for 7 and you have plenty of space. Very cozy couch, ski boot dryer, storage room, sauna, cozy terrace where you can enjoy the sun for a very long time. The location was also really perfect as a starting point for some ski tours and also super many ski tours were only a few minutes away. We would always book the cottage again!

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

My friend and I have chased the aurora around various parts of Northern Norway for photography five different years and stayed in many Airbnb's while doing so. I'd say Hallgeir's beautiful and spacious place is right up there in quality. The place was exceptionally well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The location is wonderfully positioned for daytime and aurora photography, with North Northeast to Southern exposure and some unique compositions right on the property. Save for one bright light NNW towards a mountain, you have a large view area to see the aurora. I bet the summer and fall hiking is spectacular. We would absolutely stay here again.

Anders and Kari Anne’s place has everything you need for a perfect stay. From the moment you walk in, you feel right at home. The house is beautifully designed, super comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. Every little detail has been considered to make guests feel welcome and carefree — from laundry and dishwasher detergent to dry birch wood for the stove, and a well-stocked kitchen with spices, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and more. If you need to restock, the supermarket is just down the road. It’s the ideal setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday with friends.

Ann-Tov's place was clean and very homely, we felt right at home. Plenty of seating, very well equipped kitchen, there was a fruit basket for us. Very good starting point for ski tours and we watched whales from the couch!
