The Old Gasworks, with private garden and hot tub

AnnaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our time. The home was lovely—clean, comfortable, and set in a peaceful rural location, yet still within an easy drive to nearby towns and attractions. The hot tub was a great feature, and there were other activities available on-site, though we didn’t get a chance to try them out during our stay. One thing to note: there was some work going on next door, which made the mornings a bit noisy. We’re light sleepers, so this stood out to us, but it might not bother everyone. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d happily return!

The Stableblock at Gothelney Farm

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in so far. The space was very spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The host greeted us warmly upon arrival and was incredibly kind. She took the time to walk us through all the facilities and explain how everything worked, which was much appreciated. The property also includes a large farm, which was a pleasure to explore — peaceful and perfect for a nice walk.

Harriet's place was amazing. Harriet was very responsive and proactive with helping us with our late check in. The house looks really nice in photos, but it's even better than in real life. We have only one regret, that we couldn't stay longer!

Fern Cottage Exmoor secluded spacious country home

BodhanaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
If you need a sign to stay here, this is it!!! My friends and I spent our Easter weekend at Fern Cottage with Nicola and her 4 doggies. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had this stay with her. We walked in to a freshly baked Easter cake and the sweetest card ever. Everything in the house had such clear instructions and she also had a folder with all the details about the place surroundings so we never had to look for anything. We will definitely be visiting again! This place was truly so special and homely! We spent so much time in the conservatory, reading, chatting and soaking in the views. It really is the perfect getaway!
