Welcome to Stu's corner me 'ansomes, the perfect smugglers hideaway not far from the A30, Bodmin moor and the infamous Jamaica Inn - the home of Dick Penworthy the famous highwayman and his cat the Beast of Bodmin - some say his distant relatives still drink in the bar, and keep your eyes peeled fer 'is cat because 'ees huuge - a true beast, I know cos I seen im! Anyway me beauties back to Luxulyan, tis a beautiful little village nestled right 'ere in the centre of Kernow amongst the granite boulders. You will find all sorts; miners, smugglers, wreckers and of course the Luxulyan valley featured on TV, and some say, did have the deepest copper mine in all Kernow owned by Mr Treffry 'imself. While you're 'ere why not take a train ride to Newquay, my beauties as we 'ave our own station, stick yer hand out mind to make 'im stop. Visit some of our local ports like Polperro - a little smugglers port steeped in local history with its own museum. Fowey of course with all its fine eateries, frequent tall ships visiting and don't forget regatta week. There's Polkerris beach too with its inn on the sand, and then there's Charlestown me 'ansomes, often seen in the Poldark series re named as Truro quay. To top it all only a short hike or 10 minutes on your 'oss is the iconic World famous Eden Project home of the Domes and the acclaimed Eden music sessions and they'm bleddy loud cos we can 'ear em from 'ere. Luxulyan is also world known for 'Luxullianite' a very special rock cos tis pink and was used to make the Duke of Wellingtons coffin, so they say, and shipped out of Par, can't say for sure though cos I wasn't there. While you're stayin' 'ere we have a local pub serving good food, we have a well stocked shop and post office and not forgetting the pretty little church. There's plenty of parking for your 'oss and cart right next to mine and tis a beauty cos I bought it off Cap'n Poldark 'imself. So that's it me 'amsomes, look forward to seeing you all 'ere. Our romantic Railway Carriage ‘Mr McGregor’ which looks over a carp lake for a getaway or short stay. The carriage has a full sized double bed, ensuite shower and toilet, electric hob, fridge freezer and cosy log burner. Outside is a sun drenched decking and your own private log fired hot tub. Lit up in the evening with solar festoon lighting. There are beautiful local beaches , 15 minutes from the Eden project, 5 mins from the A30 taking you to Padstow, Newquay and other local attractions

Studio by Eden Project/ Knightor Winery

A fresh, minimalist, comfortable space for a couple to stay while exploring Cornwall. Located in a quiet village connected to The Eden Project via walking / cycling trails, walking distance from Knightor Winery and with loads of scenic walks on the doorstep. We are handily located for the stunning beaches of St Austell Bay and a 30 minute drive from Newquay's surf beaches. The harbour village of Charlestown is three miles away and we are within easy reach of the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Krowji means ‘cottage’ or ‘cabin’ in Cornish and is a timber-framed single-storey build next to our 300 year old cottage. A cosy, yet light and airy retreat for two, Krowji is located at the end of a private lane in Carlyon Bay, just a 20 minute walk from the bustling historic harbour of Charlestown. Krowji offers off-road parking and an enclosed outdoor courtyard with seating areas. * Please note, although at the end of a quiet lane, we are next to the main rail line.

The Little Barn

The Little Barn is located on the historic Saints Way in the quiet hamlet of Kilhallon. It's split-level accommodation features an open-plan living room and kitchen/dining area with a double bedroom and shower room. There is a garden and patio area to enjoy, with onsite parking. An EV charger is also available. Local attractions nearby include the Eden Project, the Harbour towns of Fowey and Charlestown and the Saints Way itself which is popular with walkers.

Our luxury glamping pod is set in our own back garden overlooking the beautiful Camel Valley. We are two minutes from the famous Camel trail, perfect for cyclists and walkers. You can walk to the Renowned Camel Valley vineyard and a lovely pub along the trail,or cycle to the famous harbour town of Padstow.Guests can make use of the honesty bar & Hot tub for a small extra cost. We can provide a breakfast /hamper/cream tea at a small extra cost.
