My Cute Little House

Set in the heart of Verteuil a petite citie de caractere in the Charente we welcome you to Ma jolie petite maison, a one double bedroomed gite that sleeps 4. The building is over 200 years old and has been completely refurbished in 2024. With exposed stone walls and original fireplaces, lit by vintage French chandeliers and tasteful wall lights, the gite is both cosy and comfortable. During your stay you will have exclusive use of the heated swimming pool and a large Moroccan style barn.

This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Also close to Angouleme and its cultural events.

The Sisters' Pavilion

This charming pavilion in the heart of the Charente countryside, built at the end of the 17th century, once welcomed the village sisters with the mission of educating the children of the commune. Unpretentiously renovated, it will offer you a warm and relaxing setting for your holidays with family or friends. This one is completely private with its enclosed garden. Parking is located at the foot of the house and you can park easily.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene accommodation including on the ground floor an equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace ( only for decoration ) , a bedroom , a bathroom with shower and independent toilet. Its castles (La Rochefoucault-Verteuil), its cognac cellars. 20 minutes from Angoulême and small cities of characters like Nanteuil-en-Vallée en Vallées and Verteuil sur Charente. Foreign walk in our small village in Val de Bonnieure where you will find all the amenities.

Welcome to our wooden cabin with its fireplace and boat. The cabin is located on the edge of a pond and next to a forest. Here you will find peace and the sounds of nature. We live in a cul-de-sac in a small hamlet, 2 km from the center of Ronsenac, 5 km from Villebois-Lavalette and 25 min south of Angoulême.
