We have 2 dogs and a cat (they do not have access to the loft). The loft is independent, yet attached to the house, and we ask visitors to maintain an appropriate noise level during their stay.

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

This place was everything we wanted and more. Beautiful scenery, cozy place, private and quiet. The host was very easy to reach and very helpful. We had a small little problem upon our arrival about a breaker fuse being tripped. She promptly replied and help us resolve the issue and was quick to offer additional assistance if we need be. Our kids enjoyed the play structure, pedalboat and swimming in the private lake. I would highly recommend this place.

I can't wait to come back for another stay. Helene Anne is a one in a million host. So warm, friendly and intuitive. The space was so incredibly peaceful and was exactly what I needed for my getaway. Wakefield is so magical, the space felt like none other and Helene Anne was a fantastic host, offering daily suggestions of things to do in the area. I can't wait to go back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Carlo’s home. The space was clean, spacious, and had a well-equipped kitchen. It was a quiet and private spot. Short walk to a beautiful river trail. Easy drive into Chelsea for restaurants and coffee shops. Would recommend this spot!
