The view was gorgeous and very peaceful. Laura could not have been kinder and we had a lovely stay.
A small outdoor courtyard is visible, featuring a round table with a colorful umbrella and white plastic chairs. Lush greenery surrounds the area, while the backdrop reveals mountains and clear blue skies. The surrounding buildings exhibit stone facades, characteristic of the village.

Small accommodation in the village of Equi Terme

FrancescaRating, 5 stars34 months ago
the cottage is small but very cozy, suitable for one person or a couple; it is tastefully renovated and the appliances are all brand new; being in a village it is structured on several levels, ground floor kitchen, two-three steps to reach the room and on the first floor the bathroom; nice also the small private enclosed courtyard! very relaxing place with a nice view of the mountains and the only noise of the stream in the background, in a place that seems to have stopped in time! very helpful and kind host! We had a great time, I can only recommend a stay here!

Mareschal's Tuscany

SueRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We've stayed here three times now. From the very first visit they became family. On the second visit they invited is to a family dinner outside in the garden to welcome home other family. Honestly, you couldn't experience the love and care of this town in the same way anywhere else. Bacci a tutti e ci vediamo fra poco.

Land of Portovenere - The House above the Castle

MaryRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.
A covered terrace displays wooden furniture, including a table and chairs, set against a backdrop of surrounding rooftops and hills. Light fabric drapes gracefully from the ceiling, softening the space and enhancing the outdoor dining area.

Romantic cottage in the countryside

AnneRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
First of all, it should be emphasized that Fabio is a wonderful, courteous and helpful host. The house is lovingly and stylishly decorated. The village is located in the middle of the mountains of Garfagnana and together with its surroundings it is an oasis of tranquility. From Bagni di Lucca, a 7 km long, narrow, winding road leads to Lugnano-Monti di Villa. On the route, you will pass 2 more small villages. One of them is Granaiola, where you can eat super delicious food at Laura's. We will be happy to come back :-) Anne and Helga
An arched stone doorway frames a scenic view of rolling hills and mountains under a partly cloudy sky. The rustic stone walls of the village houses are visible, with terracotta pots and greenery adding to the charm of the pathway leading outdoors.

Casa La Lucciola, beautiful view of the Appennines

BartRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had a wonderfully quiet stay. Everything I needed was provided. The house itself was incredibly cozy, beautiful and handy. This made me feel right at home. In the area you can walk nicely and what an amazing view from the terrace. This is a really big plus. The contact with Lieke was very nice. She is early and helps well. I will definitely come back to this great nice cottage. Thank you so much for letting me stay with you!

La Castagna - a special place in the mountains

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the best place we stayed on our Italy trip! The region is so unique, with winding mountainous roads, lush forest, and ancient buildings. The property was very clean, with all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and spacious, and the view was magnificent! Lindie was a fantastic host, very responsive and gave us very useful recommendations for the local restaurant and hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you want a unique experience in the mountains!!
