Vacation rentals with a kayak in Lumpkin County

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

Maureen is a wonderful host, and the house was amazing. The decor was charming and I immediately felt comfortable. Although we had a couple of rainy days during our stay, there were plenty of games to play on hand, including a foosball table! The fireplace was a welcome feature on the chilly evenings. We had plenty of space to spread out in, and being able to have our family pet with us made us feel right at home. I would love to stay again sometime.

This spot had the most amazing view of the Lake and was so peaceful to enjoy. The property was well equipped and we enjoyed our time here so much we would stay here again. Perfect for a family we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Only recommendation would be to have extra blankets and pillows but everything else was top notch. We will be back!

First off, Wendy is a spectacular human! She was the sweetest! I messaged her to see if we could check in a little early, not only could we check in early she let us know it was ready before the early check-in! She checked on us to see if we needed anything done around the house, leaves or wanted the Christmas decor down! It was just outstanding and we loved the Christmas decor! The boat dock was so peaceful and was my workout everyday!!! We will be back for sure!! It’s like we are family now!

I took my teenage daughter and her friend for a 'girls' weekend' at the lake. Karen's place was absolutely perfect and she was an exceptional host. We did have a small issue with the AC, which Karen corrected immediately. She was very responsive, very friendly, and very accommodating. (Plus this AirBnb comes with a DOG!! Sam is the sweetest goodest boy). We would definitely return to Karen's place and highly recommend it.

With it being a tournament weekend and the reason for our stay, it would have been very helpful to have access to charge the boat batteries. Overall, had a very enjoyable visit and will stay again if we are ever in another tournament in Lanier. Thanks, The Roach's

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We spend a few days after Christmas and the place was clean and quiet to relax , we definitely stay here again .

The most perfect place for a relaxed and quiet getaway! My husband and I drove up here from Florida for our honeymoon. It was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable that we felt right at home. We hardly left the cabin, there was plenty to do right there. Canoeing on the lake with our dog was the highlight of the trip. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Zoe's house. The house was close to Lake Lanier Olympic Park and Laurel Park, and not far from the downtown. Zoe's artwork, furnishings, sheets, towels and candles really set the home apart from other places at which I have stayed. We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful home! Susan is awesome and communication was incredible. She really made our stressful wedding weekend easier and I truly appreciate her going the extra mile to assist with our special accommodation needs.

This property was fantastic, as was the communication with host, Dylan. The house was quaint, well decorated and most importantly, spotless when we showed arrived. When confirming check-out instructions, the host responded within minutes and made our exit as smooth and painless as possible. House is in a quiet, beautiful part of the Georgia mountains with delicious lake-side food less than a 10 minute drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved this house and it was perfect for the weekend away that we needed. We look forward to coming back and highly recommend this property to anybody interested. This is a beautiful little cabin in the woods ! My 3 kids 6, 3 and 1.5 really made the most of it and enjoyed it very much ! The walk to the lake is doable and they accommodate for everything by providing things like a dish scrubber, wagon, life jackets, this is one of the best rentals I’ve stayed at !

What a remarkable cabin! Amazing place with so much to do and so many amenities. The scenic views of the lake cannot be described. We didn’t get on the lake, but neighbors in the community did and it looked like a lot of fun. We spent a lot of time in blue ridge and we love it there with all the great restaurants and shopping. The cabin is very convenient to down town which we liked. Next time we will be coming back to Michaels place. It’s one of the best airbnb’s in the area for sure!

My boyfriend and I recently enjoyed a delightful getaway at this cabin, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Its prime location and excellent amenities made our stay truly special. The cabin was easy to find and immaculately clean, with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a fully-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. After a long day of exploring, we loved unwinding in the hot tub—it was pure bliss! Dave and his team were incredibly responsive and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tim’s cabin. The cabin was easy to find and not too far from anything we needed to get to in town. We enjoyed being on the porch listening to the river & our many naps on the swing. The cabin itself was cozy & great for a couple. Would stay again!

The cabin was even better than expected, but most of all, Lisa went far above and beyond expectations to make sure that everything was perfect for us, even leaving us surprise items to make our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable and leaving me special tips and instructions to help me reach one of my personal goals on our trip! The scenery was beautiful, the cabin was so clean and well kept, everything was functional and comfortable, and the level of service, attention, generosity, positivity, and responsiveness of the host was above all else. Based on my experiences so far, Lisa's cabin and her role as a host is absolutely top teir! She really made the stay enjoyable and special start to finish. I absolutely recommend!!!

Awesome stay. Extremely cool trail right behind the cabin that will take you along the BMT , you will be walking along a creek that leads to a spectacular waterfall. Very clean cabin as well. We will be back .
