Tessa and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts. They communicated prior to our trip, prior to check in to make sure we had clear directions for check in and were there to answer any questions that we had. Their attention to detail was intentional and so lovely! We had a welcome basket waiting for us with snacks and water and the kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable! We got a message after our first night checking in to make sure all was good and that we had a great first night with some restaurant recs. Really sweet! We felt so comfortable in the cabin it was almost hard to leave for outings. The beds and bedding was SO comfortable that I made note of make and brand so I could buy their pillows when I get home and our guests asked for the pillow brand as well as the throw blankets so that they can buy them as well! Lol, Needless to say we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience Tessa and Trey!

Great house - close to town, restaurants, and things to do. Peaceful area. Loved the hot tub, but the outdoor space could’ve been cleaner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Sherry’s place!

The house was amazing! Pictures were very accurate. Nice welcoming basket of goodies and a bottle of wine. Very nice touch! Sauna and hot tub were clean and very usable. The dogs had a blast! Very nice fenced yard and back area. One block off Main Street, walking distance to all of downtown, plenty of restaurants and bars, less than a mile to grocery store. I have already referred this to three families who are interested, and we will be back! Erica was a pleasure to deal with, very responsive, courteous and friendly.

The home was beautifully decorated for the holidays making us feel at home from the start. The home had all the amenities needed and very clean. Laura was a great host providing information on what to do in the area and responses to any questions we had. Had an a time! A wonderful way to start the New Year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blissful Point. It was easy to find and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. It was exactly like the photos —very clean, cozy & had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We really appreciated the welcome note & snacks too. It’s located in a great spot that is quiet & peaceful, but still an easy drive to downtown Ellijay (grocery, restaurants & shopping). We had a great time hiking on a nearby trail, visiting some local wineries (Roo Mtn was our favorite), and exploring the beautiful scenery around Ellijay & Blue Ridge. Such a great place to relax & unwind. We highly recommend Blissful Point & would love to stay there again.

I loved my stay at Ferngully! Everything was as described. Instructions were clear and thorough. I felt right at home. I didn’t utilize all of the amenities, but there was plenty if needed. The hot tub was great which was a major factor in booking. Location was another factor. I enjoyed an amazing sunset from Bell Mountain, which is not far. I also rode over to Alpine Helen.

I can't say enough about our stay here. Everything we may have needed was available. The wildlife was amazing. We saw deer every day on our walks. The dock was perfect for our boat and swimming. it's where we spent most of our time. The jacuzzi was a treat. Beds were extremely comfortable. There are 3 kings. The pics show one room w/ 2 twins, but that is not the case. Thankfully my boys didn't have to share a room this time or that would have been an issue (insert mom eyeroll here). Short 30 minute drive to beautiful Helen. Grocery store and fast food is easy to get to. We had a wonderful week and did not want to leave. Thank you Karen for a beautiful home and a wonderful stay. We hope to be back next summer!

Our entire family had a blast. The host thought of everything from proper amount of silverware to complementary coffee. The kids loved the creek and woods. Plenty of space. Game room wonderful. Location was great close to waterfalls and downtown Helen. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay and the first night a bad storm came through. The next morning after checking the place for any damage and picking up some the lawn chairs that got disbursed I notified the owners and they were do appreciative

This was even better than described! A private and unique cabin, just a stones throw to downtown. We will be back!

Highly recommended! If it's available, don’t hesitate to book it! This is by far the best place to stay in Helen. Perfectly located, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully equipped. Chris and Nicole are fantastic hosts who truly go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. If you're looking to make the most of your trip to Helen, this is the place to be!

this little gem is beautiful and if you want to feel disconnected and just enjoy nature this is the pot to be. The koi fish are beautiful, watching deer walka around the property is so peaceful, we had a great time here. Helen, GA is only 20 min away and you enjoy all the amenities they have. however, if you want to stay in the you'll be fine too. the place is fully stocked with all the amenities you need to cook a meal or you go outside and enjoy the fire pit. this place is definitely one of our favorites, will definitely go back. the host is very responsive and communication is awesome. I will definitely recommend this place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

This home is in a gorgeous location right on the lake. There is opportunity to hang out outside or inside, depending upon weather. It was in the 30’s and rainy when we were there, the home was very cozy. It was too wet for the fire pit. The dock would be great for spring and summer hangouts. We fished by the lakeside on the last afternoon when the sun came out. Saw a couple of deer every evening and morning. Lots of restaurants, shopping, grocery nearby. The beds were comfy, linens clean, house was clean, heater worked. I would stay here again.

We loved the cabin and would stay there again if we come back to the area. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The cabin is about a 10 minute drive to Helen. There are several wineries nearby and lots of places to hike.

We enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is cute and is as described in the listing. Just a heads up for anyone else interested, the place is down a narrow dirt road that must've been washed out from the hurricane cuz it's a little rough. It's not hard to drive down, but there is a spot about 50 feet long where the center of the road is high, and if you have a small car, your undercarriage will definitely scrape. We came in a rented minivan tho and it made it down the road just fine. My only two issues was 1) They didn't clean the leaves off of the the front and back back porch. They were covered in a ton of leaves and they had def been there for a while since the trees didn't have any leaves on them. They didn't have a broom in the house, so I bought one and swept it for them. 2) There were 6 of us staying there for a week and they only had one towel for each of us. It would have been nice to have 2 per person since they have a washer machine, but no laundry detergent was provided.

We spent a month here and felt at home from the moment we arrived. A beautifully remodeled farm home with a picturesque view of the foothills and farmland. Super close to Yaoola Creek park and Dahlonega center, too. And if any issue arose, they responded immediately. Jeana, the property manager, went above and beyond for us. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape to the beautiful north Georgia countryside.

Carolyn’s place was cozy, peaceful and serene. We felt so comfortable there. Lots of helpful instructions throughout the house. We were glad we had an SUV for the drive up as it was a little rough, but it wouldn’t deter us from staying again. Very cute!

What an oasis Callie has created! So glad we chose The Schoolhouse for our weekend get-away. This beautifully decorated home was so cozy, a true comfort from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We felt at home in the beautiful Georgia countryside. Could go back time and time again. Callie’s attention to detail has preserved its history and tells a story in every room.

Alison’s place was absolutely amazing!!!! It was very comfortable for the 6 of us including are four legged babies. Everything was clean and the amenities were perfect!!!! There were snacks, some spices and everything we needed to cook and clean. The beds were super comfortable. We were minutes from wineries and Helen. My dog usually barks at anything that moves. She found peace and quiet. Not even a whimper all night. That was her first time away from home and that was an absolute plus for us.

The cottage is in a very good location--only ten minutes from the central square of Dahlonega and about 50 minutes to Springer Mountain. The house is nicely renovated and Angela provides many amenities. We enjoyed sitting out in the Adirondack chairs and watching the local hawk. Angela was easy to communicate with and flexible with one of our needs. I definitely recommend the cottage.

Loved our stay. Beautiful views, great property, and a wonderful place to disconnect. The only thing we had an issue with was the firmness of our bed. We slept on the upstairs bed which is a firm memory foam (I think) which wasn't the most ideal for us. I know many others have expressed a preference for this, though, so this may be an irrelevant point depending on your sleeping preference.
