House vacation rentals in Lucerne

This is the perfect place to stay with a group of friends! Everyone can have privacy and quiet moment alone as well as convene together in common areas - so spacious, plenty of seating in dining and common areas, and so many bedrooms and bathrooms! Rob responded immediately to all my messages and provided helpful info. Would book again

Yan was a great host, very responsive and did her best to help from afar when we needed a few things. Her house was very comfortable, was well equipped and had a great view of the lake.

Clark was super welcoming and always around the property/easy to reach. Our place did not come with a coffee machine and Clark made us a million cappuccinos without complaints and with a smile. The property was gorgeous and the stay was relaxing and perfect getaway from the city. While we stayed in a converted containers, the restrooms were separate and shared. The shower is a glass shower to gaze out on the property (there is a sign to indicate people don’t go up the trail while you are showering). People who book this rental should be prepared for a glamping experience. You get to sleep in a comfy air conditioned space but food and such is cooked on a shared grill. The hot water was not always working when we were there. The property is popular and I loved interacting with other folks and the sense of community. It is definitely a spot I plan to come again but might not be great for those who value a private bathroom and a more traditional Airbnb experience. Unique & beautiful spot!

Great place to stay when in town!

When I first walked in, I fell in love with the house. Everything was clean and well organized. The backyard was set up with lots of seating areas, including an outside dining table and a fire pit. The pool was clean and the temperature was perfect. I didn’t want to leave.

Great experience overall! We enjoyed the property very much. Everyone wanted to stay longer. Stacy was very proactive and responsive.

The whole family had an amazing time. Kids cried when we left. We will be back!

This property has amazing view with comfy interior decorations and set up. The commutation is easy, smooth and helpful! The owner address the issues in a very fast and nice way. Definitely a nice place for a family trip and will consider a second visit

The location is excellent—very close to the lake, which makes it perfect for enjoying water activities nearby. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of cooking tools and even a variety of seasonings, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking their own meals. Highly recommend for both relaxation and lake adventures!

This house was just absolutely awesome. I went up to bass fish with two friends, and it was one of a kind. The boat lift is a must for any fisherman looking for a house. Location was perfect, views were great, and the house was really, really comfortable. This will be my top option from now on anytime I go to Clearlake.

Had a great one night stay at Laura’s place. Easy to find and check-in. Interior of the home is lovely and clearly recently remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Sitting on the deck in the evening was great after a long day.

Staying at Anne's home was the get away with friends that was really needed. Wish we could have stayed a couple more days. The view was wonderful and the property was very peaceful. The bed in the downstairs bedroom was super comfortable. Kitchen and downstairs bathroom were updated and very nice. Living room and dining room furniture were comfy as well. Had a few questions when we got there and Anne responded very quickly, which was appreciated. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Anne!!

TL;DR book it, all-good. You won't find a reason to complain about while accommodating here. The house, amenities, host, correspondence top-notch. Neighborhood, very quiet. Reliable Internet service blankets the entire house. Entertainment tech is well above average, smart speakers to stream music to, and enjoy movies/videos to relax. Firepit & deck done right, A+. We visited over Thanksgiving which contributed to the quietness of the neighborhood. If you like perfect lake view, colored with ducks, geese and swans, I don't know if there is a better place to stay around Clearlake. Restaurants and activities will require some drive, so study the map first. Worth noting, it seems like a 5-star resort-experience researcher went through this place and executed a well-crafted checklist. From binoculars to night lights, switch labels to kitchen utensils, helpful notes to mood-setting lights & accessories, everything is well thought through.

It has been a couple of years since I had visited the area. My “Go To” used to at Blue Lakes in Upper Lake not far from Jonathan’s place. The Blue Lakes resort was not as much fun or comfortable. The house was obviously Jonathon’s family’s home when he was growing up. So many memories there. I mentioned the neighbors Colleen and Nancy. They are truly the best. Jonathan, Colleen and Nancy have been friends for some time…and you can tell 💙 We made some new friends and incredible memories during our stay. We LOVE Lake County and feel that Clearlake gets a bad wrap. If you are looking for a new place to relax….Jonathan’s “Lazy Lake House “ should probably be your next destination. Our stay at Miguel and Fannie’s home was wonderful! The home was cozy and the amenities were more than enough and the view of the lake from the living room was breathtaking. The patio has two fire pits and plenty of seating. The dock was an amazing spot for fishing and there was an abundance of fish. We will definitely stay again when we are back in the area. We had a fantastic stay at this lakeside cabin! The location is absolutely stunning—right on the lake with truly incredible views. We spent our days kayaking (there’s a tandem and a single kayak available), relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying meals on the deck with the water just steps away. It’s also quite private, which made it the perfect place for our group to unwind, play guitar, and sing late into the night without worrying about neighbors. The kitchen was very well stocked, which made cooking at home easy and enjoyable. And for wine lovers, this is a great base—we visited 6Sigma Winery for their private tour and tasting, which was absolutely worth it! There are a couple of things to be aware of: The lake water was murky, so we didn’t swim. And at night, the mosquitos/bugs were intense—huge swarms would gather around the lights. A helpful tip: keep the doorway lights off at night and use the outside lights away from the door to draw the bugs elsewhere when going in or out!

The house is beautifully decorated, with many thoughtful comforts, though we had to rearrange rugs and chairs to accommodate my husband safely, who uses a walker; for example, the loveseat slides on the floor when it is leaned on unless its legs are on a rug. A chair in the bedroom for getting dressed would be helpful. And the bedroom window air conditioner was in need of a hygienic cleaning, as we could see dirt and/or mold inside, and chose not to turn it on. The A/C in the living room was fine after I wiped the dust out (our visit was at the beginning of May, and perhaps this annual cleaning had not been done yet). The yard and garden are exquisitely landscaped, with pleasant, private outdoor living areas.

Ingrid was an amazing host that was clear and concise with her instructions and proactive throughout my stay. For the price and location, the house was extremely nice. The kitchen and living room area were bigger than what the photos depicted. The best part was the sunroom with the pool table and foosball. The house was on top of the hill, and extremely private. The views of Clear Lake should be more advertised because the scenes were incredible! Two thing that was a cosn of the house was the amount of mosquitos that were present around the house, but it doesn't take away from the AirBnb. And secondly, that we weren't able to flush anything down the toilet. That was a big issue. Overall, a great experience!

This was a nice a cozy place to stay. It was well stocked. It is not a convenient place to access stores. Not a deal breaker. It was cold and the water was very poppy so we could not take advantage of the Kayaks or paddle boards. We were there for business so it was not that big a deal. Overall-very beautiful on lake view. Nice place to relax and enjoy the water view.

The airbnb is beautiful, peaceful, and the kitchen is well equipped. The views never get old. It is located to great hiking trails just 5 min away and a local grocery store. Holly was quick to respond and address any issues I had. She was very accommodating and hospitable. Would highly recommend this place and want to come back with family for the holiday's!

Jason’s home was exactly what we needed to visit with my in laws and my husband and small child. The home was spacious and clean. Jason was very communicative and available when needed. We loved the ability to rent the boat for a tour of the lake. Having been to Clearlake a bunch in the past it was great to see the lake from a different vantage point. We look forward to staying with him in the future!

I took my 4 kids, my husband and myself away for a surprise getaway and it did not disappoint!! They always responded quickly. The place was so clean and organized. It was exactly what I was looking for something peaceful, quiet, and remote with nature. My kids had an absolute time of their lives with the lake and all the activities they had on the property. Can’t wait to go back next year with the family! Definitely an amazing experience! The house was so clean and organized.
