Quaint circa 17th Century Cottage, Topsham, Devon.

Our little cottage is known as 'the cottage with the little pink kitchen'. Our home is colourful, fun & the perfect waterside getaway for chill time, cosy home comforts and evening dinners out only a stroll away. We are only metres away from the water, The Salutation Inn, local pubs & shops. The Exmouth Walking trail is all outside the front door. Or, just enjoy the free-standing bath or an evening BBQ, with Topsham's many independent little shops a few metres away. Note; has steep stairs.

Our home is in a fantastic location with stunning seaviews over the golf course. The south facing garden is great for children, dogs and barbecues. The children will be kept entertained with an inground trampoline, basket swing and the adults can relax in the garden! We had one night stay at this place. It's a very beautiful location with a very kind and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The host was very responsive and took care of our requests. Thank you for the hot tub, it was so relaxing after the very long drive.

We had a great stay as a group of 5 with our dogs. The place is better than the photos and the view is something else!!! It’s in a great location with Boscastle and Bude just down the road and is so quiet and peaceful. It’s a perfect space for a group or large family with a couple of different chilling spots. The kitchen had everything you could need, beds were comfy and towels etc were provided. The only thing to be aware of is the garden isn’t totally secure for dogs (unless your dog is large and doesn’t jump). It wasn’t a big issue for us because we just made sure we were outside with the dogs when they were but that might be a consideration for some.

We had a lovely week here as a family. Jane’s communication was excellent and the property was as described. We really appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was which made cooking for the family so easy on days that we didn’t eat out. Our children absolutely loved playing in the garden. Rebecca is a wonderful host, we struggled to find it as the postcode doesn't take you exactly there. I rang Rebecca and she directed us straight there, so helpful and so friendly. The cottage was so clean and welcoming. We took our pug and our cat and both enjoyed themselves. The log burner was a treat and the bedroom upstairs really nice. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would return.

We had the most wonderful stay at Swallow Parlour. From the moment we arrived, it was clear our hosts were exceptional – they truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area surrounded by countryside, it was the perfect escape to unwind and switch off from the world. The enclosed garden was beautiful and private, a lovely space to sit and enjoy the stillness. Inside, the house had everything you could possibly need – so well thought out and comfortable. The log burner made it extra cosy in the evenings. The thoughtful touches really made it feel special: homemade scones with jam and cream waiting for us on arrival, fresh milk in the fridge, and gorgeous locally made Devon soap bars in the bathroom. It all felt very personal and generous. It’s in a great location too – with scenic walks nearby and just a short drive to the beach. We couldn’t have asked for more. Can’t wait to return!
