Since 2015, just steps to the St. Charles streetcar on Brainard Street (at Philip St). The 1930's double is the entire second floor with private front and rear entrances, Living and dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, screened porch and laundry. Relax and enjoy a walk-able neighborhood after exploring the many activities of the city. I live downstairs and enjoy meeting our guests upon arrival. Restaurants, bars and markets are on St. Charles Avenue!

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly cottage. It has been completely updated. This beautiful 2 bedroom 1 bath home sits on a double lot. We really enjoyed our three days at Ethelyn’s place. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and everything worked. We enjoyed walking to and from the pedestrian/bicycle ferry and looking at all the interesting shotgun houses in the north, and eating at a few of the restaurants within walking distance. The NOLA waterfront is easily accessible via the ferry. Ethelyn was a gracious host and was flexible on our check-in time. We highly recommend Ethelyn’s place.

The location is great - easy walking to French Quarter, Bywater, right next to Frenchman St. Ton of everything you need right nearby, but still very quiet and peaceful. Place itself is comfortable and charming. Many nice little touches of tasteful but joyful mardi gras decor. High quality and plentiful towels - soap, shampoo, coffee, tea etc. if you forget to bring any. A wonderful place!

This was a great place for our group of 6 adults and 3 kids, and there was plenty of space for us to spread out and get comfy. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and chatting outdoors with our morning coffee. The cafe two doors down for breakfast/coffee was nice too, just wish there were a few more restaurants and things to do within walking distance. Overall this was a great and comfortable stay for our group, and communication with the hosts was very good.

Very safe and clean neighborhood. About 1.5 blocks to streetcar stop. Great ice cream parlor, bakery, and restaurant basically under the unit. Small market a few hundred feet away and an amazing cheese shop down the block. CVS directly across the street. 15-20 minute drive to almost anywhere in the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Nicki’s home was an amazing place to stay during our trip to New Orleans. We wanted something with authenticity in a residential area away from the madness, and this was perfect. It felt like we were truly immersed in the history of the area, but with all the comforts one could ask for. Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout the house made it feel like home, and a quick 2-block walk to Magazine St offered tons of cute coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Nicki was a great host and let us leave our bags early ahead of check in time. I would happily stay here again!

Mike’s place was lovely and cozy, though it’s on the second floor the stairs were on the shallow side so they were easy for our older dog to easily get up and down. The side yard is fully fenced and was just the right size for dogs. The area was lovely and easily walkable to some amazing restaurants and shops on magazine. The street car is only a block away so it made getting to the quarter a breeze. I highly recommend Mike’s place.

My husband & I spend a couple nights at Mel's place and would 100% recommend it to anyone coming to New Orleans. The neighborhood is a safe & quiet residential area off the beaten track, but only a few blocks from the Uptown streetcar. The apartment is classic New Orleans, and was spotlessly clean and well-supplied. And Mel was a peach - offering recommendations, extra blankets, and anything else we could have needed. A fantastic AirBnB experience!
