Lake house vacation rentals in Louisiana

Beautiful and comfortable home. Great kitchen and well stocked. The grill was a hit allowing us to grill burgers/sausage for family. Plenty of towels, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels just to name a few items to make our stay perfect. The coffee bar and waffle set up was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

We had a great weekend celebrating the wedding of our son and new daughter-in-law! Their wedding officiant and came to the house for the ceremony which they did right out on the dock. It was a beautiful setting for photos. We loved the house - everything was so clean and comfortable. The porch swing was lovely - a few more good rocking chairs would be great so everything can enjoy the comfort and beauty of the views from the porch. We loved the firepit and the availability of camp chairs to all sit around it. The dining room table was perfect for playing cards and enjoying meals together. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This place was an awesome weekend getaway! Very clean and love the way the inside was decorated. In a great location for a weekend on the water! Mrs. Ivannia was very quick to respond if we needed her for anything and super nice! We will definitely be staying here again.

Our weekend at A Frame of Mind in Toledo Bend was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt cared for. The A-frame was spotless, beautifully decorated, and smelled wonderful. Jade was such a kind and thoughtful host—she reached out with helpful info, including fishing guides and fun spots for the kids. We loved the screened-in porch with its cozy swing and big TV. The backyard was magical—grilling steaks, sitting by the fire, and enjoying the sweet s’mores kit Jade left for us. The cornhole setup under the lights was so much fun, and the mural behind it made for beautiful family photos. We fished for crappie and sun perch right off the back. One of my favorite moments was kayaking through the still water under pecan and pine trees into Toledo Bend—spotting squirrels, bluebirds, woodpeckers, turtles, and even a raccoon across the waterway. Peaceful, quiet, and full of wonder. We can’t wait to return ❤️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Peaceful Fishing Escape This place was a hidden gem! The setting was absolutely majestic — peaceful, scenic, and perfect for fishing. We spent hours on the dock reeling in bass and catfish, then grilled our catch while watching the sunset. Karen, the host, was wonderful — warm, helpful, and full of local tips. She made sure everything was spotless and welcoming. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with great fishing and Southern charm, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Joel was a fantastic host. Booking and check-in was seamless, the best I've seen. The Lakehouse was clean with alot of extra items ie. kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. I felt like I had everything I needed if I were home. The house was very spacious. I especially liked the large tub with jets. Pictures do this home no justice. It looks even better in person. The Lake views were spectacular. 6 days was not enough for us. This home was perfect for us and so beautiful. We would definitely return!!!

Great home on the water inlets off the beautiful bayou. I can’t wait to return for our next trip. Certainly didn’t want to leave and hope next trip will last longer. This BnB had everything we needed and more. Upper screened in porch and downstairs with furniture, cornhole, bbq grill, and crab traps were great to enjoy the extra time off. Charter fished one day and relax the other while grilling our catch was icing on the cake. Thank you!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We came down for a family wedding, and the house was perfect—beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The instructions provided were clear, well-placed throughout the home, and made everything easy to navigate. Katie was super responsive and helpful, even though we didn’t end up needing much assistance. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We’d gladly stay here again!

The home is perfect for a small group or a little larger family. The master is very private at the opposite end of the home. Everything worked great for us. We used the dock. We had a boat easy to park the boat. It’s at a cove, so not a lot of Boat traffic to disturb your boat. We fixed breakfast so we found what we needed to use but for lunch we just stuck the sandwiches and simple stuff. We enjoyed the home very much. Wesley is amazing. He has a nice investment for himself and we look forward to using his home again.

This cozy cabin was everything we hoped for! Plenty of space for our group and a great location!

The place was absolutely beautiful! We had the best time not only at the house but with people who were staying in the neighborhood! Everyone was friendly and fun to be around. I recommend going to Jody’s snow and ice down the road, it was amazing as well! Overall a great experience and great host!

Host is very accommodating and responsive. Loved the location. The outdoor seating was beautiful! The space felt a little smaller than expected but nothing we couldn’t work past. Overall, this host definitely takes care of their guests and the airbnb.

From start to finish this was an easy relaxing trip. First of all Jeremy our host was friendly, helpful, and always quickly responsive to any questions I had. Let me tell you this place is beautiful. Honestly the pictures really don't do it justice. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The house is immaculate and has anything you need. I am a clean freak and can be picky about places I stay and this home was perfectly kept. The outdoor areas were awesome. Lots of shaded hang out areas to sit and relax. Now let me get to the best part... The beautiful private sandy beach on the river. Perfection!! We floated and fished and just hung out and had wondered family time. We can't wait to go back and didn't want to leave. Lots of beautiful walking and beautiful things to see. We definitely recommend Jeremy and Hope's place!!! See y'all next time!! 😊

It’s a very beautiful home, felt like home! We will definitely be booking again!

Great place for a quiet weekend getaway with the kids or with friends. We went out for mother's day weekend, 3 married couples. The home features plenty of seating area, a spacious and clean kitchen, a large game room with large sofa, a large indoor hot tub an out door fire pit, 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, a projector screen you can hook up to and amazing views from the back porch and dock down on the lake. We loved the home and our stay there. Cody was quick to respond each time I messaged him and made things very simple. Very enjoyable stay!

One of our favorite places we have stayed! It was decorated/set up like a place the hosts actually vacation too. Little things like pans and knifes in the kitchen that are actually usable made it comfortable and easy to vacation. With the supplied crab pots we even caught some blue crab for a meal one night! Nice and clean, comfy beds, and a peaceful dock/screened in patio!

We stayed here with our four kids and LOVED it! It was clean and felt safe. The kids loved the slide! The neighbors were also very friendly. We needed a lighter and they gave us one. The view was beautiful and it was very peaceful, especially while drinking coffee in the morning on the porch. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Caney.

If you want a beautiful picturesque place to stay then I would recommend this place. Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful place to relax. Fishing from the boat dock was a blast!!
