Courtyard Apartment

KristiannRating, 5 stars1 month ago
AMAZING! Hope to come back soon. The space was squeaky clean, the beds were very comfy, kitchen was generously and kindly stocked with all the staples as well as coffee, tea, granola bars, chocolates, and the location was fantastic! You couldn't ask to be in a better spot. Loved walking to all the restaurants and cafes and snowball stand. Heard some great live music. Everyone we encountered in town was so friendly and welcoming. This was such a special place to stay. Thank you for having us.

Parlor King Suite

BridgetRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Our favorite part was the bathroom, it was so luxurious! I’m not sure if it was just the time of year, but it was the end of January and there were gorgeous lights in the trees outside of our bay window and it really set the experience over the top. I’m a photographer and I booked this location for a session but took advantage of the opportunity to have a little getaway with my mom & baby once my client left. We enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch, taking a long soak in the claw foot tub, and I walked only 1 minute away to mama d’s pizza for take out. When we turned the tv on, we loved how it was already on a fireplace channel. Another small touch we appreciated were the Andy’s chocolate mints on the night stands. The host was very great at communicating and the neighborhood was wonderful! It’s so close to so many great locations that you can easily walk to. The book of recommendations was great! The next morning we drove out to Fontainebleau state park on the way home.

Spring View Double

Second time we’ve stayed here, and loved it both times. Hotel is super peaceful and beautifully designed. Beds are very comfortable, bathroom is amazing, and has everything you need in the space. Hosts are always responsive and friendly. The area is great for dining and walking (paved trail nearby), and we always make the short drive to the brewery and coffee roastery. Definitely worth stopping through!

Just blocks to Frenchman St & the French Quarter!

SamRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We were in town for the New Orleans Poetry Festival—(Check it out! Happens every year!) which just so happened to line up with French Quarter Fest. PERFECT spot for walking to French Quarter / the awesomeness of the neighborhood in general—legit a 6-7 minute walk to the local food co-op / arts zone / yoga / healthiness that is the New Orleans Healing Center. (I’d highly recommend checking it out!) Very clean :) Very quiet as well! Despite being in such close proximity to the busy-ness outside! I was impressed. Beautiful garden—with amazing spots to swing and chat and hang. Hosts were very accommodating/kind in terms of our schedule! Absolutely plan on staying again! Notes: Parking def a bit tricky. Might’ve been cuz we were coming in during Festival weekend? If you’re coming in at evening—be prepared to hunt for a spot. Also, the hot tub was not working the entire weekend 😞 We’re poets. We get that stuff breaks hah! Merci beaucoup—much gratitude to the hosts for sharing space ?

Grand Suite in Historic Victorian Guest House

JosephRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An amazingly quiet and charming spot just a few blocks from the insanity that is New Orleans. Free secure street parking a block away. Nice walled courtyard out back, I’ll spend some time there on my next visit.
A four-poster bed features an elegant canopy and is dressed in a crisp white duvet, with a decorative pillow positioned at the head. The deep red walls complement the rich wood accents, while a window adorned with patterned drapes allows natural light to filter into the space.

I cannot recommend this BNB enough! Huffman Manor was gorgeous, historic, and had the friendliest inn-keepers anywhere. I also have to recommend any of the breakfasts. They were perfection on a plate. I felt like a Princess all weekend and cannot thank everyone for being so kind, caring, and accommodating all weekend!

Charming Modern 3BR Suite, Award Winning Design

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
It’s been a long time since a rental lived up to the host’s description and photos but this gem did everything it promised and more. We absolutely loved the house and the interior decor, along with its proximity to everything on our itinerary.
The hotel logo is prominently displayed in elegant, scripted typography. The design features ornate flourishes that frame the text, with the name 'The Betty Jane' standing out in larger letters above the phrase 'A Boutique Hotel' in smaller text.

I’ve never felt more like a treasured guest! I’ve stayed at the Ritz before - the hosting here rivals that caliber. Such beautiful details, well done. The house flows; has charm, and all the amenities I could think to need. Lovely. This will be our regular booking for years to come.

French Quarter Groovy Blues Guest House hotel room

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
You cannot beat the location of the Blues Room in the back of the French Quarter, 1 block from Esplanade and The Marigny. Its quiet, safe, peaceful but with so many restaurants and things to look at. This is the ideal place to walk to and from. The Blues Room is part of a larger house with its open separate entrance door and bathroom. To enter the property you enter a gate to the courtyard in back and walk 3/4 of the way around the house to get to the Blues Room. The exit is out the other 1/4 end. Logical and easy. The combo locks work well. The room is exactly as it looks in the pictures - great artwork on the blue walls. Appealing to the eye. The bed was extremely comfortable. I slept better than usual. The room is not big - I bumped my shins on the bed frame a few times the first couple of days. The furnishings are old/antique which match the historic feeling of the room. The bathroom is a little tight, but about what you would expect. Hot water, clean.
